What are the main parameters that shape your theology? How much does your experience play in your theological viewpoint? How much is it based on the Bible? Many people would be surprised at how much they allow their experience to misinterpret the Bible. Jesus said that if you have seen Him you have seen the Father, that He only did, said, and went where He saw the Father doing, saying, and going. Jesus was the exact expression of who the Father is and how He does things. So why are so many views that we have about the Father and how we do ministry contradictory to how Jesus did things? Ministry is to be bringing the dominion of God's Kingdom into a situation. That is what Jesus preached and did, this is what the 12 apostles did and taught their disciples to do. Here is a 2 part video series on this very subject.

(If you are going to judge the video by the person speaking in it, then please don't respond at all to this topic, I want people who will actually interpret what the speaker says for what he means, and not what you think he means, Thanks!)

No offense. People always come on this site. Want to post what ever they want then command for anyone who doesn't agree with them not to say anything.

How about you don't post anything ever unless I give you permission to post????

As I said no offense meant. You are not the first. I'm venting because I'm tired of people coming here and telling us what we can and can not do.

Mods work here and they know their jobs.

I live in America and we have free speach.

God bless you very much!!

Sorry if I offended you. That was not my intent. I just don't want people responding who judge the videos without even even watching the videos....
As always I highly value your opinion and input :)

I do want people who disagree to feel the freedom to post if they watched the videos.

I am rather maligned on another website. They discuss much theology.

To me the heart of the Gospel is love

My theology is Faith in Christ and a relance in the Holy Spirit

That is enough theology for me!

The doctrine is grace
My response is gratitude

That is awesome and is absolutely true. But I feel that many Christians miss finding their identity in being a son/daughter of God. In order to live as sons and daughters of God, and as the bible says, ambassadors of His Kingdom we need to know what living as a son and ambassador looks like. For instance, an ambassadors job is to represent the interests of their kingdom/country. Since we are ambassadors of a different Kingdom that is not of this world, we need to know what that Kingdom looks like and how to represent it accurately. Jesus consistently preached the Kingdom of God in our midst. He also preached that He was giving nations as our inheritance, that we are to pray "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, On Earth as it is in heaven." Some people think this prayer refers to when we go to heaven, but that would be utterly pointless. Duh! God's will is done when we go to heaven. Jesus was speaking of something He wanted to happen now.

Food for thought...

Blessings,

Well, I could not watch the videos, because they are streaming, and I don't have the bandwidth to do streaming.

I would just say that my theology is based entirely upon the life of Jesus in us by the Spirit of Christ. I am convinced that He became just as us and walked as He did because everything that He did and said was in example and in fact just as we are to do in Him. He said that it was expedient that He went to the Father, for otherwise the Spirit could not come to us.

Thanks brother, good thread,
