Remember that religion is one of Satan’s hidden dynasties. He loves to plant false doctrines, which twist Scripture, in Christian churches.

If you believe the rapture, you may find yourself among the following group of deceived Christians when Christ returns.

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. Revelation 6:16

The above folks are so ashamed because they’ve been worshiping the wrong Christ.

It seems that the rapture people have forgotten how to count. The think the 7th trump comes before 6th ... that the real Christ comes before the false one comes. Christ returns at the 7th trump, not the 6th trump;

At the 6th seal, 6th trump, 6th vial, Michael will boot satan, playing his role as the antichrist (instead of Christ in the Greek), from heaven to earth (Revelation Chapter 12:6-9). Keep in mind that Revelation is a Prophetic book making the word SAW into the futuristic word "will" fall etc.

Christ also gave you all 7 seals & trumps in Mark 13, Luke 21, and Matthew 24. Have you read them with understanding?

Before 1830, you can find no mention of the Rapture Doctrine. That alone ought to send up a red flag. In fact, the word "rapture" is not in the Bible. So, where did this false doctrine come from? In 1830, Margaret MacDonald had an evil revelation on her sick bed, supposedly from God, in which she was shown what would become "The Rapture Of The Church", among other names.

And, from The Incredible Cover-up by Dave Macpherson, Appendix A, you'll read:

"I felt this needed to be revealed, and that there was great darkness and error about it; but suddenly what it was burst upon me with a glorious light." - Margaret MacDonald (Spring of 1830)

MacDonald's revelation would have probably died with her; however, two preachers grabbed it, cleaned it up, and presented it to Christendom. Today, you'll hear many pastors promoting that false doctrine from pulpits.

A little bit off on some of the details, as I have researched it, but basically... Yeah!

Oh, I forgot to mention that you must backup to verse 13 and pick up the subject:

Where are the dead. Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 answers that for you

6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Also, 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Those in Rev 6, are people in the tribulations piriod, the Church is rapture to heven before the start of the tribulations piriod.
The Church goes before the First trumpet in Rev is blown.

Jesus and Paul taught the price trib rapture, so where did you get 1830 from??.

Romans 11:8 According as it is written (Isaiah 29:10), God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear; unto this day.

Acts 28:25-27
25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoAken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,
26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

EZEKIEL 34 [9] Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the Lord; [10] Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them. [11] For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. [12] AS A SHEPHERD SEEKETH OUT HIS FLOCK IN THE DAY THAT HE IS AMONG HIS SHEEP THAT ARE SCATTERED; SO WILL I SEEK OUT MY SHEEP, AND WILL DELIVER THEM OUT OF ALL PLACES WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN SCATTERED IN THE CLOUDY AND DARK DAY. [13] And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, AND WILL BRING THEM TO THEIR OWN LAND, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country. [14] I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. [15] I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord God. [16] I WILL SEEK THAT WHICH WAS LOST, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

I believe 1Cor15 and Zeke34 are speaking of the same event. If not how will God gather them and bring them to Israel? Certainly not public transit

I used to be a very hardcore rapture believer however certain things broke me spiritually inside and the rapture became a curse to me not a blessing I became spiritually worn out inside just thinking about the rapture even the word itself sapped the strength out of me and so I have up on it and simply sought to become closer to God prophecy the rapture the tribulation all these things were gone out of my mind.

And yet God was not hesitant to show me dreams and visions of the rapture happening of the tribulation of prophetic events to come even though I wanted nothing to do with those things, I have seen the rapture more times than I can count I have seen events to come that are both amazing and also horrifying I have seen the wedding of the lamb I have seen the armies of God and satan seconds away from battle I have seen countless of things concerning the rapture the tribulation and of the wedding as well and while I no longer have a stance on when or how the rapture will happen I can say for certain that it is not a false teaching and is an actual event and is an event this is going to happen

There is definitely no rapture in the Bible. It is a total misreading of the Greek, as I have said many times.

However, that being said - it is simply not a soterilogical issue. No one is going to lose their salvation over a wrong end times belief. In Seminary, I had professors from all different eschatological persuasions. They might have talked about this, and brought up various scriptural points, but no one accused anyone of not being saved about this particular area of doctrine. As a fellow student once said "No one is going to lose their salvation over an educated guess!"

I learned all 4 view points. Everyone should read about all 4 viewpoints, written by people who support them. And why they don't believe in the other viewpoints. Then pray and ask God to show you the truth, which is what I did.

The biggest problem with the rapture view, is that it has been pushed by popular fiction books in the media and horrendous hype about getting "Left Behind!" It's time for people to be discerning, and become informed. Instead of watching some scary movie or reading a book and thinking that you have missed the rapture, (When the Bible never talks of it!) people need to know what the Greek says, in passages like 1 Thess. 4:17, where the word some people take for a rapture, is actually talking about meeting and returning. To earth. With Jesus.

But remember, you simply cannot lose your salvation because of what you believe about end times scenerios.

You made one good point, you just used "religion" to un-save any Christian who believes in the scriptural, prophetical rapture. Other than that....

Jesus makes clear in the Olivet Discourse:

[SUP]9 [/SUP]“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

"By all nations" is key. We were not hated by all nations at any time in the past as many nations were predominately Christian nations. It could be argued that this is rapidly becoming not the case now.

John shows us in Rev 7, a Great Multitude of believers who were killed and in heaven. He goes on to tell us in Rev 12 and 13 that war is waged against Christians. Those with the testimony of Jesus can only be Christians.

[SUP]17 [/SUP]And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

[SUP]7 [/SUP]It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them.

In Daniel 7 we are told that the Saints are under attack until the Ancient of Days comes.

[SUP]21 [/SUP]“I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, [SUP]22 [/SUP]until the Ancient of Days came...

It is pretty clear that the Church will be slaughtered in large numbers before the Great Tribulation of Israel.

In 1 Thes 4 Paul makes clear:

[SUP]17 [/SUP]Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

Notice that? It is only those who are still alive and remaining who are caught up. Therefore there will be many who don't make it. Sadly most Christians will be dead and return with the Father at the Day of the Lord.

Nowhere are we taught that the Church is raptured before the Great Tribulation. Nowhere are we taught that during the End Times, the Church is immune from Satan's attack. The opposite is taught as I've shown above.

I think people are too obsessed with the last days. When we stand before God we wont be judged on our eschatological views but how we lived our lives.

Hello Wall,

The following two scriptures are regarding the same event, which is when the Lord will fulfill His promise of John 14:1-3:

"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be [caught up] together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."

As the scripture states, at the Lord's appearing those who have died in Christ will rise first, then those believers who are still alive will be changed into their immortal and glorified bodies with the whole group meeting Christ in the air. Then according to John 14:2, the Lord will take us back to those dwelling places that he went to prepare for us in the Father's house, the Father's house being heaven. After God's wrath has been poured out upon a wicked Christ reject world, Jesus will return to the earth to end the age and those of us who will have been in heaven will return with the Lord depicted as those armies riding on white horses and wearing fine clothing white and clean. (Rev.17:14, 19:6-9, 14)

Matt 25: 1--13. Jn 14: 1--3. (If you put 1 Cor 15: 51--52 with 1 Thess 4: 13--17), and these other scriptures, you'll see that 1 Cor 15:51--52, is the Church being rapture to heaven.
The Church is in heaven, having the marriage feast, during the tribulation period, so how can we be in heaven and going through the tribulation period at the same time.

Hello tanakh,

30% of God's word is prophetic. Do you think that He provided all of that information to be ignored? For those longing for the Lord, His appearing is our blessed hope. For if we can see the stage being set for the time of the antichrist and the church is to be removed from the earth prior to that time period, it tells the believer that we are ever closer to the Lord's appearing to gather His church. Furthermore, we have a special blessing from God regarding the reading and hearing of end-time events:

"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near."

"Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book."

"And I am John, the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

"I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."

Prophecy is very important and God wanted us to know about the events that would be lead up to the time of the end. Of all people we should be hanging on the edge of our seats daily, because we are that generation living in the last days leading up to the time of God's wrath.

The study of end-time events gives the believer greater insight as to where we are in God's prophetic time-line and keeps us looking for the Lord's imminent appearing. Though others who have attempted to claim that they were living in the last days had no right to do so and that because all of the signs would have had to be present. The world is now ripe for that antichrist to be revealed and we already have the technology where people are being implanted with chips under the skin of the hand, which will evolve into that mark. The very fact that that this technology even exists is a testimony to the truth and accuracy of God's word and how close we are to the Lord's appearing.

When we stand before God we wont be judged on our eschatological views but how we lived our lives.
I'm sure that our belief in His word, prophesies included, will also be brought up in our judgment, whether or not we rightly divided the word of God. Some don't even believe in His word regarding end-time prophesies and mock those who do study and proclaim them.

"Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."

Those who long for the Lord's appearing are those who are studying end-time events and looking for and hastening the coming of the day of the Lord.
