If HIS kingdom was of this world HIS servants would fight. JESUS' KINGDOM is not if this world but is indeed being built up now and exists now

I see all of the below passages as dealing with "(THE) GREAT TRIBULATION of ISRAEL:

Mat 24: [SUP]15 [/SUP]“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), [SUP]16 [/SUP]“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains... [SUP]21 [/SUP]For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Dan 11: [SUP]31 [/SUP]And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress (Wailing Wall); then they shall take away the daily (prayers), and place there the abomination of desolation. [SUP]32 [/SUP]Those who do wickedly against the covenant (Palestinians) he (Man of Sin) shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. [SUP]33 [/SUP]And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering...[SUP]35 [/SUP]And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.

Eze 38: [SUP]8 [/SUP]After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. [SUP]9 [/SUP]You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you.”...prophesy and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it? [SUP]15 [/SUP]Then you will come from your place out of the far north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.

Zec 13: And it shall come to pass in all the land,” Says the Lord, “That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die, But one–third shall be left in it: [SUP]9 [/SUP]I will bring the one–third through the fire, Will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested.

I see the King of the North spoken of here in Eze 38 and Dan 11:31-45 as the same man. I see this king from Gog of Magog, the Prince of Rosh, to be Russian. I see him as the Man of Sin spoken of by Paul. I see this King of the North (AKA Man of Sin) as the one most call the AntiChrist although this is a misnomer.

This King of the North is a type of earlier "Kings of the North" mentioned in Dan 11. He, along with his Islamic allies from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Ethiopia and perhaps Turkey attack Saudi Arabia (The King of the South). They battle Dan 11:40-45 and the King enters the Glorious Land.

Basically I see two warring alliances in a future Middle East War. It very well may catch the whole world up into it as WWIII although this isn't specifically told. I see a force from the North led by Putin* and Russia combined with countries loyal to ISIS attacking moderate Arab nations from the South led by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the Gulf States. During this battle, the King of the North (Putin) will be dragged into a conflict with Israel by his Muslim extremists from ISIS and Iran.

I believe before Israel is attacked, we will see the final Caliphate declared north of Israel. They will have a leader (mouth) who will speak blasphemies towards God and His people. They will attack and murder (often beheading) Christians in big numbers. This will go on for 42 months before North and South begin fighting. The starting point for these 42 months was June 29, 2014.

As far as Israel and the GT is concerned, the thing to watch for is the defiling of the Wailing Wall which ends Jewish prayer. From that day there will be 1,290 days until the Abomination of Desolation is set up at the same Wailing Wall sparking the start of the GT. The GT, which is the all out attack on Israel, lasts just 45 days (although Jesus says those days will be cut short for the ELECT).

*Alternatively, I can see Turkey prime minister Erdogan, instead of Putin as the King of the North.

All this crap from Hagee, LaHaye and the like is absolute Bull.

We are closer to the start of WWIII then anyone wants to admit. Here are a pair of recent stories:

Report: Putin Possibly Readying for World War, Recalling Russians to Motherland

Russian President Vladimir Putin could be prepping for a new world war as relations with the United States and other Western countries continue to disintegrate, according to a reported in The New York Post and other media.
Putin has reportedly ordered top Russian officials, politicians and their children across the world demanding that they return to the Motherland, the Beirut-based Daily Star claimed.

The order comes amid rising tensions with the Obama administration over Syria and Putin’s mysterious last-minute cancellation of a planned trip to France this week.

“This is all part of the package of measures to prepare elites to some big war,” Russian political analyst Stanislav Belkovsky told the Daily Star.

Retired Russian Lt. Gen. Evgeny Buzhinsky also told the BBC that US interests would suffer if the situation escalates.

“If you want a confrontation, you’ll get one. But it won’t be a confrontation that doesn’t harm the interests of the United States. You want a confrontation, you’ll get one everywhere,” Buzhinsky warned.

The report comes as a key ally of Putin's warned that Americans should vote for Donald Trump as president next month or risk being dragged into a nuclear war.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a flamboyant veteran lawmaker known for his fiery rhetoric, told Reuters in an interview that Trump was the only person able to de-escalate dangerous tensions between Moscow and Washington.

By contrast, Trump's Democratic rival Hillary Clinton could spark World War Three, said Zhirinovsky, who received a top state award from Putin after his pro-Kremlin Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) came third in Russia's parliamentary election last month.

Russia has been angered in recent weeks by the United States withdrawing from talks in Syria and for the U.S. accusing Russian government-backed hackers for being responsible for leaked emails of Democrats ahead of the American presidential election.

Russian foreign policy analyst Fyodor Lukyanov told Agence France-Presse that Putin's canceling of the Paris trip was a "serious step" toward a return to a Cold War-type relationship to the West.

"This is part of the broader escalation in the tensions between Russia and the West, and Russia and NATO," he said.

CIA Prepping for Possible Cyber Strike Against Russia

The Obama administration is contemplating an unprecedented cyber covert action against Russia in retaliation for alleged Russian interference in the American presidential election, U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.
Current and former officials with direct knowledge of the situation say the CIA has been asked to deliver options to the White House for a wide-ranging "clandestine" cyber operation designed to harass and "embarrass" the Kremlin leadership.
The sources did not elaborate on the exact measures the CIA was considering, but said the agency had already begun opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation. Former intelligence officers told NBC News that the agency had gathered reams of documents that could expose unsavory tactics by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Vice President Joe Biden told "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd on Friday that "we're sending a message" to Putin and that "it will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact."
When asked if the American public will know a message was sent, the vice president replied, "Hope not."
Retired Admiral James Stavridis told NBC News' Cynthia McFadden that the U.S. should attack Russia's ability to censor its internal internet traffic and expose the financial dealings of Putin and his associates.
"Probe with bayonets. When you hit mush, proceed. When you hit steel withdraw." "It's well known that there's great deal of offshore money moved outside of Russia from oligarchs," he said. "It would be very embarrassing if that was revealed, and that would be a proportional response to what we've seen" in Russia's alleged hacks and leaks targeting U.S. public opinion.
Sean Kanuck, who was until this spring the senior U.S. intelligence official responsible for analyzing Russian cyber capabilities, said not mounting a response would carry a cost.

"If you publicly accuse someone," he said, "and don't follow it up with a responsive action, that may weaken the credible threat of your response capability."
President Obama will ultimately have to decide whether he will authorize a CIA operation. Officials told NBC News that for now there are divisions at the top of the administration about whether to proceed.
Two former CIA officers who worked on Russia told NBC News that there is a long history of the White House asking the CIA to come up with options for covert action against Russia, including cyber options — only to abandon the idea.
"We've always hesitated to use a lot of stuff we've had, but that's a political decision," one former officer said. "If someone has decided, `We've had enough of the Russians,' there is a lot we can do. Step one is to remind them that two can play at this game and we have a lot of stuff. Step two, if you are looking to mess with their networks, we can do that, but then the issue becomes, they can do worse things to us in other places."
A second former officer, who helped run intelligence operations against Russia, said he was asked several times in recent years to work on covert action plans, but "none of the options were particularly good, nor did we think that any of them would be particularly effective," he said.

Putin is almost beyond embarrassing, he said, and anything the U.S. can do against, for example, Russian bank accounts, the Russian can do in response.
"Do you want to have Barack Obama bouncing checks?" he asked.
Former CIA deputy director Michael Morell expressed skepticism that the U.S. would go so far as to attack Russian networks.
"Physical attacks on networks is not something the U.S. wants to do because we don't want to set a precedent for other countries to do it as well, including against us," he said. "My own view is that our response shouldn't be covert -- it should overt, for everybody to see."
The Obama administration is debating just that question, officials say — whether to respond to Russia via cyber means, or with traditional measures such as sanctions.
The CIA's cyber operation is being prepared by a team within the CIA's Center for Cyber Intelligence, documents indicate. According to officials, the team has a staff of hundreds and a budget in the hundreds of millions, they say.
The covert action plan is designed to protect the U.S. election system and insure that Russian hackers can't interfere with the November vote, officials say. Another goal is to send a message to Russia that it has crossed a line, officials say.
While the National Security Agency is the center for American digital spying, the CIA is the lead agency for covert action and has its own cyber capabilities. It sometimes brings in the NSA and the Pentagon to help, officials say.

In earlier days, the CIA was behind efforts to use the internet to put pressure on Slobodan Milosevic in Serbia in 1999, and to pressure Iraqi leadership in 2003 to split off from Saddam Hussein.
According to documents leaked by Edward Snowden, the CIA requested $685.4 million for computer network operations in 2013, compared to $1 billion by the NSA.
Retired Gen. Mike Hayden, who ran the CIA after leading the NSA, wrote this year: "We even had our own cyber force, the Information Operations Center (IOC), that former CIA director George Tenet launched and which had grown steadily under the next spy chief, Porter Goss, and me. The CIA didn't try to replicate or try to compete with NSA… the IOC was a lot like Marine Corps aviation while NSA was an awful lot like America's Air Force."
"I would quote a Russian proverb," said Adm. Stavridis, "which is, 'Probe with bayonets. When you hit mush, proceed. When you hit steel withdraw.' I think unless we stand up to this kind of cyber attack from Russia, we'll only see more and more of it in the future."
