When you see the phrase "something like" you can know it is a metaphor. A "mountain" or high place is often a city on a hill. Cities were often built on hills to make them easier to defend. Jerusalem has been called a mountain repeatedly in the Bible.

Apparently all Biblical symbolism is lost on you. That's really sad. It's like watching a black and white movie with no sound. For instance, Jerusalem (NOT THE WHOLE PLANET) was in a marriage covenant with God. In Rev 17 Jerusalem is pictured as a Harlot riding a beast as if in the act of committing adultery with the beast. The beast is Rome as it obvious from Rev 13 because Rome was the fourth beast of Dan 7 and has the features of the first three beasts which John names in Rev 13. We know that Jerusalem was in an adulterous affair with Rome because the same John who wrote Rev records this quote from Jerusalem's spiritual leaders in his epistle.

I disagree, I have benefitted GREATLY from him being here. I would have never understood the second coming of the Son of man without Ahwatukee because I would never have researched it to the point that I did without his comments.
