The expression Son of God primarily identifies Jesus, who was called Son of God many times. John 1:34; 1 John 4:15; 5:5
Humans have also been called sons of God. When speaking to Pharaoh Jehovah spoke about the nation of Israel "my son, my firstborn". Exodus 4:22-23
Human flesh cannot see God and live for he is a spirit. Exodus 33:20
These sons of God presented themselves before God along with Satan. Job 1:6; 2:1
Satan being present among them shows the position they were in was as spirits.
Spirit creatures took their place in his present.
