I have been called to Preach AND specifically unto Prophecy for 38 plus years, I see this all the time, the scripture as written confuses you because it is written in Old English(e) and translated from Greek to boot and they had different writing styles 2000 years ago. So, I will go line by line and explain it.

So, Jesus has returned, see Rev. 19, Rev. 16 is the real return Rev. 19 is a Parenthetical Citation chapter but its the exact same event, so he returns in Rev. 19, now we see the Judgment that happens during Jesus' 1000 year reign on earth. It can and does happen on THAT VERY DAY he shows up, thus its still 1000 years

Rev. 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, (Thus we know from this point on Jesus reigns in his 1000 year reign)

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they(the Church) sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them(Church): and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they (ONLY THOSE from the 70th Week who REFUSED the Mark of the Beast) lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.(Not ALL Christians)

5 But the rest of the dead(The Wicked of all Humans who ever lived) lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. (This is the first Resurrection is referring to all of the Righteous in Christ Jesus raised up before the 2nd Resurrection after Jesus' 1000 year reign, be the the Pre Trib Rapture, or those Martyrs of the 70th week who are THE ONLY ONES who live on this earth, with Glorious Bodies, for Jesus' 1000 year reign, thus that means the Pre Trib Raptured crew do NOT LIVE on earth with Jesus fir the 1000 year reign).

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:( All those raised before the 2nd Resurrection, be it Pre Trib or Post Jesus; 2nd Coming, there are only TWO RESURRECTIONS, the Resurrection of the Living/Righteous in Christ ands the Resurrection of the Dead/Wicked) on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Why are they Judged on WORKS? They have to be, they REFUSED the Free Gift Jesus offered unto them, his blood would have set the free from the Law, instead they chose to trust in their own works, and they will be found GUILTY, Amen.)

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

ONLY THOSE Martyred during the 70th week LIVE and REIGN with Jes7s fir his 1000 year reign on earth.

lol,no really,,,really? go back to post #157(and most all of my post) and if you read it you'll notice that most every Scripture I provide is from a Greek interlinear... is it just a habit to assume everyone uses a KJVB?

Here's a little Greek I've been working on for several years now will you help me with it(the etta proceeding the number has me stumped, lol)? I'm glad you've been at this for 38 years but I read the bible from Gen. 1:1 all the way through when I was 17 or 18 and I apologize because now that I'm in my late 80's I have lost track of how many times I've read Revelation.

The Lord Christ made Daniel's prophecy part of the 6th seal bowl and trump.
Mark 13. Asking Him the signs of His return, and the end of the second age. Its really this simple.
Daniels 9th chapter is fast moving this is why it confuses so many. The date of Christs crucifixion is even given in Daniel 9.

A good way to get ones bearings where prophecy is in chapter 9 is note the midst of the week.
Its the same midst, in Revelation. The Half way point between the Five months of the 5th and 6th woe Trumps when Satan is here claiming to be Christ and yes deceiving the whole world that he is Christ.

This is that self same sacrifice cutoff. Understanding the prophetic speak that true worship to Christ our Passover is cased for the overspreading of the abomination of the Earth, Satan standing in Jerusalem, in the minds of all claiming to be Christ and death swarms over. It is the final week of years, Christ shortened to Five months. Its amazing how little the vast majority of Christianity knows of Gods word, to Satan's advantage. 2nd Thessalians 2.

Rev 20:14 . . Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.

* When this comes to pass, Hades will be vacant seeing as how its contents were all
subpoenaed to face justice at the great white throne.

FAQ: How does one put Death to death?

REPLY: This may be accomplished ceremoniously seeing as Death is on track to be
abolished. (1Cor 15:26 and 2Tim 1:10)

FAQ: According to Jonah 2:2, Jonah 2:6, and Luke 16:19-31, Hades is a spirit world
located somewhere deep underground. How will it be taken out of the Earth and moved
to the lake?

REPLY: Hades may be included in the ceremony suggested above; indicating that
never again will anyone be incarcerated in a place like that even though a section of
Hades is paradise-- but it's not an ideal paradise; there's a better one.

Rev 20:14-15 . .This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the
book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

There's no coming back from the lake. If it's meant to abolish Death and Hades, then I
think it's safe to assume it's meant to abolish everything and anybody else sent there.
And besides; according to Dan 12:2 and John 5:28-29, there is only one resurrection
allotted per person which the dead will use up in order to face justice at the great white
throne event. In other words: the second death is not only second, but also conclusive,
viz: the dead's names aren't in the book of life because as far as God is concerned, they
don't exist.

The very popular view that is based on a severe misinterpretation of Daniel 9:24-27.
“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭9:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The messiah would be cut off which would lead to the prince of the people to come destroying the city and sanctuary and lead on to deolations until the end

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.( note this part is specific to Judea) For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:20-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

jesus being cut off by the people he came to save being mistreated and crucified is the abomination that set the desolation of Israel and it’s temple in motion

The messiah would be cut off

“But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.”
But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same is become the head of the corner: This is the Lord's doing, And it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21:38-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when jesus was crucified it set I. Motion Romes destruction of Jesus when and it’s temple it is still today desolate because they have no temple the desolation of Israel happened in 70 ad because they crucified thier messih , there’s a war happening now and jerusalems desolation began because they rejected and crucified Jesus ( the stone the builders rejected ) thoer desolation will remain until that war is over

There was an end to Israel’s covenant it was when they crucified Jesus and fulfilled the curses promised that’s why Jerusalem was destroyed by Rome after Jesus died and rose nd why they have no temple still today in Jerusalem it’s still a Islam mosque staring God has no son on the Temple Mount a true sign of desolation

After all is said and done-- the bowls, the seals, the trumpets, the great
white throne scene, and the new cosmos is ushered in after obliterating
the old, etc. --a couple of interesting announcements will be made.

1) "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no
more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more
pain: for the former things are passed away." (Rev 21:4)

That is very good news because it would be difficult, if not impossible, for
folks in Heaven to be happy while knowing some of their loved ones, their
associates, and their BFF didn't make the cut and instead ended up on the
wrong side of things.

* The great white throne event won't be a peaceful scene. I'd imagine that
people will be literally pale with terror, lips trembling, mouths too dry to
speak; screaming, shrieking, sobbing, bellowing and yelping like wounded
dogs-- eyes darting about looking for something, anything, to clutch and
cling to as the awful reality of their fate sinks in; and a powerful force they
cannot resist drags them off to a mode of death akin to a foundry worker
falling into a kettle of molten iron. I know of no one who would be happy
with memories like that haunting them.

2) "Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile
continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him
who is holy continue to be holy." (Rev 22:11)

The people to whom those words pertain, will be stuck with who and what
they are with no chance of ever being any different.

That's good news for the righteous and/or holy because they'll never have
worry about doing something really stupid that results in their eviction from
paradise; whereas it's really bad news for folks who end up on the wrong
side of things because they will forever be unfit to be anywhere else except
the lake of fire.

Your right about the trib not being 7 years, it’s 71/2 years.
I disagree with everything you said ! A prophetic week is 7 years.
World War I & II has nothing to do with the trib.

I suggest you get a good annotated Bible like Dake’s Annotated Bible or Scofield’s Annotated Bible, preferably in the kin James.

Where are the moderators ?
In reviewing this thread, I have to correct myself; I said that the Trib is for 71/2 years, no it’s for 7 years (y)

Scofield's annotations are part of the problem here. As to your closing question, the moderators will deal with heresy; they don't restrict discussion on debatable topics unless people start getting rude.
I call for dealing with all error and heresy here, being in me or others.

While in principle I agree, the core problem is that there are many views on what constitutes "error". Heresy has the same issue, though there is less disagreement at least on the major issues. The moderators are volunteers and don't have time to police the forums for every infraction; they rely on contributors reporting.

You could refine that still further. The Tribulation is for 3 1/2 years and the Great Tribulation is for 3 1/2 years. But the latter period will be reduced further according to Christ.

No the Eta (H) it's Alexandrian Greek so it is in upper case instead of lower. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eta In the text in our Bibles of Revelation 13:18 https://biblehub.com/interlinear/revelation/13-18.htm the word that should precede the number is "autou" #846 https://biblehub.com/greek/846.htm but if you notice the line(it's faint) above the Eta(H) it is an abbreviation of something using Nomina sacra https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nomina_sacra (but it's not the word that's suppose to be there)... Also if you look in the line directly above it(second line from the top) you will see (ANOY) with a line also above it(go to the link I gave for Nomina sacra and in the list ANOY is "human being/man"(genitive possessive)... Directly above this in the first line you will see "apio",,(fisrt 4 letters of arithmos https://biblehub.com/greek/706.htm Anyway I don't believe the fragment is of the Revelation I think it is a fragment of an commentary on Revelation written by Valentinus the Gnostic https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentinus_(Gnostic) mentioned in the preface of AH by Irenaeus (paragraph 2) where he spoke of the "commentaries as they call them of the disciples of Valentinus..." https://www.newadvent.org/fathers/0103100.htm
