A lie resulted in the fallen world that we have today.
God spoke the truth to 2 perfect people, people free from sin, Adam and Eve.
Yet a lie was more attractive for them to believe, and they did, and God's truth manifested itself and thus mankind was thrust into what we have today.

I would like to suggest that we are living in days similar to or worse than Noah's day.
In Genesis 6, it states that men practiced wickedness continually non-stop and God's spirit did not strive with them anymore.

Jesus's words to the church in Philadelphia in the book of Revelations gives us a clue or cues us into what we will be up against. Except for a few, everyone including all Christians will go through a tribulation (temptation) that has never before come upon the world from the beginning of time.

Exactly what this tribulation is going to look like is unknown to most Christians, or rather is hidden from most Christians, because equally at the same time, it appears that things will be going great, eating and drinking, buying and selling, building and breaking down, marrying and giving in marriage etc etc etc, but what makes it worse is the bible also states that when everyone is saying peace and quiet, sudden destruction will befall mankind.

So what exactly is this great tribulation that is going to befall mankind. That is a secret, privy only to true children of God.

if man was made to live and not die , mortality is tribulation . If we were made to have perfect health , a world of disease is tribulation , if we are made to be at peace with each other violence in the earth is tribulation .

I think that we often look at the world from our perspective it seems wonderful but if you compare the state of the world to Gods good and perfect will it’s upside down and unrecognizable because of mans dominion

“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭82:1, 3-

if we look at what the earth was made to be by God and what it is now

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭

believers living in a wicked world face tribulation diseases , war , death , murder , rape ect the whole state of the world is in tribulation now people aren’t supposed to live 100 years with all these terrible events taking place in these dying bodies

the world isn’t supposed to be full of wickedness , our children aren’t supposed to be harmed by strangers , no ones supposed to lie cheat and steal ect all the world is in turmoil and Chaos but we don’t see it because it’s our home it’s normal to us that people get diseases , get murdered in our fallen world were blinded by the world so as satan has his throne here and wickedness reigns all around us we’re living in this lifetime it’s our tribulation period

the end of the world is different there will be that time described physically but now it’s a spiritual state much more important and present everyday we may not be alive in the end but we all
Have our lifetime in this terrible tribulation realm where many bad things befall us believers or not
the world we live in is in tribulation now all The evil all around us is building until the end

the world doesn’t see it because they reject Gods word foretelling it

We have descriptions of what it will look like in Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and Revelation. But even so, many Christians will be caught off guard because churches don't teach the whole truth. So many churches have a postmodern slant that says the Bible isn't historical and its prophecies aren't literal.

Friend, I'm afraid we are in the middle of "a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false."

In a parable Jesus assures those who are supposed to be his servants, who are not living right that He will surprise them, and they will not know when He is returning and neither will they be prepared for His coming.

The above statement is a very profound one as it suggests that only those who are doing the masters will, they will not be surprised nor found lacking at His appearance.

The church in Laodicea which was lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, Jesus threatened to spit them out if they did not stop serving 2 masters and stop being complacent.

The entry into God's kingdom is impossible for man to do through his own efforts. But with God everything is possible. And Jesus states that many will seek to find the straight and narrow but will not be able to find it.

Therefore the statement many are called but few are chosen.
In Noah's day only 8 were saved out of the entire world. In Sodom only Lot and his 2 daughters were saved.

The pattern repeats itself throughout the entire bible and it appears that at the very end of time, of those who are living, only a very few will be saved. Those few will be prepared because they will understand as Daniel 12 says.

I really do believe that Christians will need spiritual eyes in the last days, as was given to Gehazi, when Elisha prayed to God to open his eyes, failing that they will all perish.

The bible is an extremely complex and unknowable book unless God opens the eyes of those who love him. Jesus uses the example of shortening the last days for the elect's sake, else he said no flesh would be saved. This underscores how evil the last days will be, the deception will be so great, that many using their own wisdom will never see what hit them. Truly many will believe lies that appear to be the truth to them.

Thessalonians speak about God sending a delusion that will cause many to believe a lie and I can say that it is happening right now at this moment.

We have no record of God telling Eve, only that Adam was
told not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

We may assume Adam told Eve :)

Though the record shows Eve added to what Adam was told.

GOD sent me to tell the world but only a few believes it (Jeremiah 35:15).

As Christians the ultimate goal is to "reconcile to His Spirit" (II Corinthians 5:18-20) for "eternal life"

Romans 6:23 says "THE GIFT is eternal life" and "THE GIFT" is defined as Holy Spirit baptism in Acts 11:17 but the majority of today's Christians believe in a water baptism.

"And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth" (Revelation 17:5).

"And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues" (Revelation 17:15).

10 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" (II Thessalonians 2:10-11)[email protected]

Fortunately the bible is not a history book detailing a consecutive narrative. If it were we would be reading volumes of books, and more confused than we are with the one small manual which we have now. That small manual has confounded the entire world.

The bible is not a history book, rather it is a spiritual book, going straight to the heart of the matter. God does things perfectly. So the mundane details of carnal things do not come into play. God made man head of the woman and Adam should have stopped Eve from breaking God's law instead of joining her to break God's law.

Anyhow that could not have happened because everything that happens is perfectly timed and ordained by God to bring about his perfect will.

I agree that the spirit is life and the carnal flesh is death. As you rightly said most people denigrate the baptism of the Holy Spirit to a mechanical process of water baptism while others philosophize the Spirit as some sort of invisible thing or force that happens automatically when one says "yes" to God at the time of making a decision to become saved.
Both extremes are unbiblical.

None of which changes the fact that Adam was not deceived... explicitly stated in Scripture.

Since the truth will set you free, you could have at least acknowledged that much.

Agreed yes

Eve was the one who fell into the trap first she was deceived in that Satan baited her into a conversation about Gods word , and twisted her mind up about what he said the deception is in that act when he beguiled her what adam did was sin he wasn’t beguiled by Eve as she was by the serpent . He sinned willfully without excuse other than “ my wife said I should so I did “ not a deception but an informed temptation

I agree, the girt is eternal life. Even in this world there is the life of the spirit and the carnal life. The law as it defines sin is the key to the real eternal life, for in reality it is the life of the spirit that is the true life and that life can be eternal except that sin came in to cancel it.

Paul explains this, and his explanations are used by the church to turn our backs on the sin that kills this eternal life. They use that we are dead to sin to tell us to ignore that sin kills. They use that sin is a curse that kills to say we should not acknowledge that sin exists. They use that it is faith that saves to say we can ignore that sin kills, not realizing faith in God is to not accept sin in our life. They use that we are human and it is impossible for us to be sin free to say we must not repent of sin so without repentance we choose sin. These truths, with their wrong interpretations, are paraded by Christians as they ignore that Paul tells us to obey the Lord and repent of sin.

Because a human is not perfect and there is sin within him, any idea given about the necessity of the repentance that is trying for obedience is met with the taunt "are you perfect". Christ told us to be perfect, even though Christ knew we couldn't reach that goal. Christians tell us we should not follow Christ's command to try for perfection. I've read a post saying Christ didn't mean it when Christ told us to be perfect. They say that if we can't reach perfection, why not just live in sin, we can't stop it anyway.

AMEN!

Jesus commanded us to

"Prove all things" (I Thessalonians 5:21; KJV)
"Prove your ministry" (II Timothy 4:5).
"Prove your own selves" (II Corinthians 13:5).

What Father would command "proof" but gives nothing to prove it then tell us we're a liar (I John 2:3-5) who will go to hell (Revelation 21:8)?

Jesus gives us "POWER" (Acts 1:8) to PROVE IT after Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5)

Jesus gives us "Spiritual gifts" (I Corinthians 12:7-10) to PROVE IT after Holy Spirit baptism (I Corinthians 12:13)

Jesus gives "Signs following" (Mark 16:17-18) to PROVE IT after Holy Spirit baptism (Mark 16:16)

Therefore we can "CONFIRM that the LORD is working with us with signs following" (Mark 16:20).

Which is how ANYONE knows whether or not one is a true Christian (I Corinthians 12:11-13) and is "the Biblical way" for

IT IS WRITTEN!

Romans 6:23 say "THE GIFT is eternal life" and

"THE GIFT" is defined as Holy Spirit baptism in Acts 11:17!

Consequently if anyone wants "eternal life" (Romans 6:23; Acts 11:17) "Seek ye first Holy Spirit baptism and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33) since Jesus promised in Mark 9:1

"...Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come WITH POWER" and Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:8) CAME "WITH POWER" (Acts 1:8; Mark 9:1) on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:2-4).

Therefore we can truly say ""Seek ye first Holy Spirit baptism and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you" (Matthew 6:33)!

Blessings

"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the Church: and he is the saviour of the body" (Ephesians 5:23).

Adam was commanded by GOD who told Eve (Genesis 3:2) but she gave it to Adam (Genesis 2:6) and "...he did eat." Therefore Adam is responsible for the disobedience since "the husband is the head of the wife" (Ephesians 5:23).

LISTEN TO people in unrighteousness

"...The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat" (Genesis 3:12).

"GOD LAUGHS" (Psalm 37:13).

"THE CURSE" (Genesis 3:14-19)!

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Whenever we are doubtful, fearful, anxious, we are actually in bondage to Satan.
Whenever we are confident, brave, and have love for God and our neighbors we have been set free. (by the truth)

Perfect love casteth out fear, for fear brings torment (1 John 4 vs 18) (Phil 1 vs 28)
Love is the end of the law, It actually is the proof that we are saved.
If one cannot have true love for their enemies, they definitely are not saved.
Stephen said, while being stoned to death by his enemies, "Forgive them for they know not what they do".

1st Cor 8 vs 1&2 tells us that knowledge puffeth up but love is of God.
What exactly is love?
It actually is the resultant effect of being saved. (A fruit of the Spirit)
It is not the love that Peter had when He told Jesus He would not allow Him (Jesus) to die.
Jesus called him (Peter) Satan at that point because that was not true love. (That was human love)
True love is not mustered up earthly love but comes directly from God. (It is godly love)
True love is doing the will of God. (Obedience to death)

1st Corinthians 13 defines love for us.
Jesus also defined it when He told us to turn the other cheek.

All of the above sounds like pie in the sky impossible things to do.
It is impossible for the carnal (natural) man to do. But what is impossible with men is possible with God.

This is where the truth comes into play.
It is God who teaches us the truth and gives us understanding and without knowing the truth one cannot truly love.
What is the truth? That is the number one question that will lead us into the kingdom of God.

What is the truth? That is the number one question that will lead us into the kingdom of God.
We have so many men who have interpreted scripture and started different church denominations based on their interpretation that it is difficult to discipline our minds enough to close these interpretations all out and rely strictly on all scripture. We are so blessed to have programs that help us such as e-sword.

Is it the truth that the law is cancelled? Can we have grace if we don't repent of a sin? Does being under grace not law mean that we are not to listen to the law? Is the law a blessing or a curse to us? Doe repentance mean that we give our will to the Lord knowing the Lord is sinless and His will is for us to be cleansed of all sin? By bondage does the Lord mean the commands like fleshly circumcision or does the Lord mean bondage to sin? Are we to work for the Lord as a result of our faith in Him? How does knowing works don't save us fit into that?

The answer to all these ideas that divide us is in scripture, but it takes dedication to finding the truth and lots of work to find it.

You want truth?

Jesus commended Peter for have received "...revelation from My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 16:17)

Who said in Matthew 7:21 "...no one will enter into the Kingdom of heaven" unless he receives revelation from My Father which is in heaven in order to "...do the will of My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21).

Therefore if one isn't Holy Spirit baptized to be "joined to His Spirit" (I Corinthians 6:17; II Corinthians 5:18-20) to receive "revelation from My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 16:17) the commandment Jesus gives us through the Holy Ghost" (Acts 1:2) in order "...to do the will of My Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21) you will "in no wise enter into the Kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 7:21).

"Reconciliation" (II Corinthians 5:18-10).

You have PROOF that you're received from the Holy Ghost?

Jesus' promises (Numbers 23:19) are our PROOF (Jeremiah 1:12)!

Jesus promised "POWER" (Acts 1:8) after Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5) in order to "join to His Spirit" (I Corinthians 6:17) after His "POWER comes upon us" (Acts 1:8) Who "QUICKENS" us (I Corinthians 15:45) "back to life" (Ephesians 2:1) from our "DEAD spirits" (Romans 5:12-14; I Corinthians 15:21-22) so we can receive "HELP" from the "HOLY SPIRIT" (John 14:26; 16:7).

Jesus promised "SPIRITUAL GIFTS" are received (I Corinthians 12:7-10) after Holy Spirit baptism (I Corinthians 12:13)

Jesus promised "SIGNS FOLLOWING" (Mark 16:17-18) after Holy Spirit baptism (Mark 16:16).

THIS IS OUR PROOF THAT WE HAVE "THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST DWELLING IN US" (ROMANS 8:9)!
