Id go read the entire bible it will be edifying to you to take the whole word not just what m÷rs your view making fables of your perceptions . or do you know what contains in each mans heart ? Remember our own hearts are deceitfull above all things s. Deacon is from the Greek, diaconos. Simply means a waiter of tables. Service, a help. Servant.
These designations are simply functions, ministries as in serving the folks.
Bishop: one who watches over the new converts. All elders are bishops.see: 1Peter 5 and Acts 20. These scriptures are totally overlooked by most.
Pastor: shepherd. One who feeds the flock or sees to the needs of the needy. Again, see the previous verses. All the elders, the more learned and mature, are pastors.
All elders serve in these functions. Functions not offices with plaques or honorific titles.
Here's where men have twisted the meanings of these functions into exalted hierarchical positions of power and control.
The Catholic Church took it to greater heights in the 4th century. The Protestant church broke free from much of the satanic paganism bot maintained the same hierarchy structure counter to Jesus command not to do so in Matt. 20.
So any elder function such as the waiter of tables, diaconos, is not a pagan exalted office that one must bribe with cash for to obtain. Functions, simply functions. Servants, not kings.
