Thankyou for apologising. Does that work in the middle of a complaint along
every line you write. Lol. If you were my example of good behaviour I would
be lost.
Just forget it bro....no biggie....You and I will never see eye to eye.....different ideologies, different theologies and different beliefs...two cannot walk together unless they be agreed.....end of story!

Am I talking to the right person? Things are just black and white, our feelings do not lead us into
sin or away from it, it is just cold hard facts.

It is impossible to talk about love without it involving empathy, care, compassion, patience,
being long suffering, encouraging, sympathetic. Now if you can do all these things without
emotion, you are not human. And everything we do is bathed in emotion, which is why
when people stop feeling they call it depression, the suppression of emotion to the extent
all we feel is pain.

So again you talk to me something that does not exist.
Until you wake up to your living breathing heart, there is not a lot I can do to help.
last sentence. peter, it is a mistake to assume that I or others " need your help ". if you would drop this arrogant attitude, then you would have much more friendly, fruitful discussions. but, you won't, so...........

This is a parable of interaction.
The respect and letting the light shine is more important than the content.

Most times both sides are wrong to a degree, and right to a degree.
Grace matters and so does walking in love, Halleluyah.

Based on the animosity in some peoples hearts, am I allowed to say this.
I prayed for a brother who said I should not because I was not praying to
Jesus. Now this is how contorted some get, just on a few posts.

Pain and hurt distorts the soul, so we need to be careful how we respond
and who we are talking to. I equally can fall into this trap and probably fail
too often, because I do not know your lives and the damage and hurts you
have come out of. God bless

Funny how so many think it their duty to "help" someone not asking for help. I'd say they have power and control issues....which are very common with people in real time as well. Seems even Christians can be little tyrants.

I still cannot believe we can post verse after verse concerning the faithful men of the bible and their obvious admission to sin and or sins or being sinful and yet we have people in this age that will flat deny these verses and make themselves out to be BETTER and more RIGHTEOUS than the men of the bible like DANIEL, Peter, Paul etc.....folks....we are ALL in the same boat when it comes to our nature and character....only 1 (ONE) was sinless and even he BECAME sin for us that HIS righteousness can be applied by faith......JESUS was clear....OUR born again spirits are ALWAYS willing to do what is right and biblical, but OUR flesh which we still PACK is weak and not subject unto the word of GOD....the battle ground is the MIND and sometimes, yeah in some, MANY times we fail and sin....end of story and this IS biblical.....the scriptures PROVE this stance...

NO WHERE does this advocate a lifestyle of sin, NO where does this indicate that we are not to repent and seek forgiveness by repenting and confessing....NO where does this indicate that we cannot grow more and more faithful while suppressing our fallen nature....until we have a resurrected body we will fail and SIN...end of story!

Yup. They don't really make a solid stand on something. They instead just tear other people down and then they mask it with claiming superior spirituality for themselves. They lack empathy just like violent criminals.

Not hardly D.

Nowhere did you say anything about the NEED for those believers who sin to repent and ask for forgiveness in your OP.

I believe we (you and I) have had many encounters on this very subject, and I HAVE NEVER PROFESSED what you stated in your OP. The point is far from moot, because you are taking pot shots at those who disagree with your belief in OSAS.

FROM OP;

The only man who was sinless 100% was Jesus...even the most faithful men and women of the bible failed and had sin that they struggled with....the above re all present tense...NOT PAST TENSE......!

For those who say that we advocate a wicked sinful lifestyle because we acknowledge these scriptures.....this is false, misleading and border line lying.........!

You clearly defend OSAS, and condemn those who do not......

In my opinion, YOU owe me and anyone else who rejects the OSAS teaching a public apology for the self serving attack.
Not hardly, P. I am an OSAS kind of person. I didn't get that DC was talking to me. I didn't get that because DC is talking to those who believe we are or can become sinless in life after salvation. That's not OSAS doctrine at all. (Rather opposite of what we believe, since frankly, if we think we're permanently saved, then we don't have to justify ourselves by being sinless, so why bother being sinless?)

That you and DC "have had many encounters on this very subject," suggests that is because you think DC is always talking about OSAS for some whacked out reason. Or, more likely, you are so caught up thinking that's what he's talking about because that's what you want to talk about. So, maybe what you originally said wasn't a lie because you are so focused on your go-to argument with DC, but to keep propagating your opinion of what he's really talking about, despite the facts, will turn that into a lie.

Your choice now -- ask for forgiveness from DC for this misunderstanding, or realize more of us are going to take you as a liar, because you refuse to see the subject and pretend it is something else.

I get along with DC about like I get along with you, so don't think this is me taking sides just because. When you say someone is lying simply because he isn't talking about the argument you prefer was very much unjustified. To continue pretending this is on him turns it into a lie.

I am am not sure what your point is here.

What makes you think that those who are in the OSAS camp don't need to repent of sins as described in scripture?
I would ask what you think repentance is?

Sorry but the term "You Guys' is not an endearing term or one that is conducive to opening up a meaningful conversation.
Bordering on lying? One is either lying or not. There is no in between.
Off-topic, but it seems needed anyway:
"You guys" is a regionalism in the US. This is how we distinguish between singular "you" and plural "you." Plural "you" can be
-- you
-- youse
-- you guys
-- you all
-- ya'll
-- y'all.
Grammatically speaking, it is, of course, incorrect. But depending on where we live in the US, it really does clarify between singular "you" and plural "you." (Added bonus, we can usually tell which part of the States a person is from by which use is given. "You guys." Traditionally the Northeast.) Never a thing to define "endearing" at all to us. :)

By jove I think I've got it.
That's great. And it was funny. I kept thinking of the little train that could........he's gonna get it,hes gonna get it,he's gonna get it........GOT IT.
Be not removed from the SIMPLICITY that is found in JESUS ;)
It is funny isn't it? When we suddenly get something, how something works then it makes things easier for us.

If only we truly understood who we are in Christ then life would be so much easier. But 1 step at a time.
Each step Christ is walking with us.

I think it's a bit like God (not wishing to be irreverent) but I do wander if he is saying "he's gonna get it, he's gonna get it, he's gonna get it........GOT IT.

We get it when we remain within the simplicity that is found in Jesus.

That is we are in Jesus, he us in us. And he knows what's best. Nothing more and nothing less.

It is because they won't let us get past salvation. They are forever stuck on salvation and NEVER advance in the Christian life.

For simplicity, just one verse sums up the believer who wants to continue in sin or evil(human good.)

Saved as if through fire. Going into the Kingdom naked and never glorified the Lord in time. Sin and evil(human good) have huge eternal consequences for the believer.............it's just not their salvation.

You as well as everyone who knows me knows I HAVE NEVER SAID or IMPLIED that one must not confess sins and or repent....it was blatantly false.......!
Then why defend yourself? Not like everyone else can't see that too, and all you're doing is fanning the flame.

Besides, I'm on page three now and haven't seen one sinless-wonder respond to your question. It seems everyone is agreeing with you. (Still looking, but I strongly suspect Sinless-Wonders tend to be banned for the personality traits that deception leads to.)

You do know that this is D.C.'s post you are responding to right? How does your attitude change in your response knowing that?

Jesus said go and sin no more, these magicians say you cant, but yet they promise others liberty..How can that be? And of course they never describe what sins that cant stop...If they could stop sinning would they even want to? They have been under the lie for 500 years ever since Luther's marvelous discovery of the faith alone myth and go and sin some more..

Don't believe the feigned words of man's maligned wisdom, but follow the truth in Jesus, for He can TAKE AWAY sin when one comes to the mercy seat of God in all sincerity, having no guile, having ceased from rebellion.....One would think that these wizards know all 7 billion people...Sin comes natural to them so they in their wildest imagination cannot comprehend a morally upright righteous man like Job..They will still call him a sinner..How vulgar and distasteful...There so ignorant they don't even know what the word sinner means in the text........God sends false prophets to test you and prove you...
Oh brother!

Do you work for an ad agency or a politician? Because you can truly spin a yarn about nothing out of nothing. (And, that's not vulgar and distasteful?)
