I love Jesus because He first loved me. He lay down His life for me, a sinner, so that my sins would be forgiven and through His life, death and resurrection I gain eternal life. With this I am offering my life to Him as a living sacrifice for His goodness, faithfulness and for His great love for me.

I love jesus because he showed his mercy on me even when i didn't show it to him. He had infinite patience with me even when i would choose not to acknowledge him. He entered my life and told the evil spirits they no longer had a place here.

Of coarse because of His sacrafice but really........I feel He is the only thing I have in this life that I can count on. Id like to say that about others but if you think about it, spouses can cheat, parents die and people let you down. Jesus is certain. His love for me wont go away. I didnt earn it so I cant lose it. My heavenly Father always has my best interest in mind and will always take care of me. Jesus is my much needed refuge in a very harsh world.

More interesting and deep to ask why Jesus loves us?

He is incredible, he brings us to and cares for us until the end...and even if he didn't he would still be great...because he is the LORD.

I think its rediculuos that he had to choose us and none of us first chose him...Think about it, it's like amatuer athletes picking their friends instead of Micheal Jordan, all the while Micheal Jordan is standing on the sideline sitting out and then he still chooses us for his own team.
