Stop acting like i didnt.
Stop talking like a child. Respond to questions posed to you!

If you can not do anything but make personal opinions....why post anything at all. YOU do not ever seem to be able to use Scriptures to validate anything you say and when comments on Scriptures are posed to you, your say......

"Knowledge will cease.? Vanish?

Amazing my friend......amazing. WHY are you posting on a Christian forum site if you can not give Christian answers???????

Just to be argumentative?????

IF you took the time to actually STUDY and READ the Bible you would know that in 1st Corth. 13:8 when Paul said that Knowledge woud come to and end.....He was speaking about RELIGIOUSE KNOWLEDGE KNOWLEDGE!

The completed Word of God gives MAN all the KNOWLEDGE He needs to know in order to be saved.

As I thought.

You will not post anything because there is nothing to post.

As usual in cases like this.....there is an opinion given because you do not like what has been told to you.
Instead of doing any investigative Bible study, you simply make unsustainable accusations and then just walk away.

In the professional media, they call what you so as ...."Drive By"!
you are totally disenfranchised from the truth and mistakenly assume people, including myself, are going to be shut down by your personal opinions of scripture and your faulty character analysis.

Allow me to offer a diagnosis of your operating behavior. I would not hesitate to state you are a bully who is used to getting their own way, using insults, ad hominem directives, tu quoque hypocrisy and various other sentiments that amount to nothing more than 'tactics' which most likely often work for you. They do not and will not work here, so all that posturing and amateur psycho dribble you spout is going to waste.

You are nothing new to me and I suspect, to most in this thread who oppose your opines. With the exception of your Pauline error regarding tongues (one very big error to be sure and not just the amusing anecdote as you refuse to accept scripture, never mind address it), there is nothing you can say that will make anyone sit up and take notice.

In short, you are akin to a donkey braying into the wind. People continue to refute your error because it is anti-God, anti-biblical and poison that insults the Holy Spirit and short changes His work in this world.

Your critical analysis of scripture is wanting in both English and the original languages. When people do point out your errors, as several here, including myself, have done, you snort and dismiss it. I refer particularly to the amusing belief that Paul was referring to his own repertoire of supposedly known languages rather than his direct reference to the fact he states he speaks in tongues more than anyone.

You simply dismiss people off hand and refer to people as 'cases' and I daresay you have never had a 'case' in your life. You include the term 'professional media' in your dismissal of me as though you worked for CNN or MSNBC which I am sure you do not. Therefore, you pull things out of thin air and attempt to create legitimate working knowledge of various institutions in order to create the illusion you are important.

in short, you are a blowhard

blowhard: a person who blusters and boasts in an unpleasant way.

however the reference to which you would guide us in your enthusiasm to dismiss anything you cannot control, makes no such claim

it states simply 'knowledge'. it does not state all knowledge needed for salvation

salvation is not a stop sign. we are to continue and to walk in the spirit...however you are walking in the spirit of error

God love my brother....but dont you think the proper thing to do is to look up the appropriate Scripture instead of "Somewhere in Hebrews 1.

You do know that there are many people who are new to the Christian faith and they need to be lead properly to the right Scripture.
i said the 1st chap of hebrews.

That is a reference

Study the diety of Jesus.

Those verses should be already in your mind. Ready to defend the trinity.

Is that not what you are imploring others to do?

You had a nice opportunity to verify it.

I only carried out your misinformation to it's "proper" conclusion.

You are the one connecting the baptist cessationist error.

Knowledge= gone ....vanished...completely dissappeared...no longer needed.

Same for tongues and prophecy.

They only needed Knowledge for the early apostles huh????

Who thought up that sillyness?

yes.

And salvation has never been through knowledge.
I knew nothing when i got saved.
Tons of testimonies of Godless heathens such as myself completely ignorant of the Bible and its author.
Then Jesus came to me like he did paul. I was arrested and scooped up into the kingdom.

When we see paul and his vast presalvation knowledge he said " ...i count it all dung"

A long time ago with tongues and prophecy.

Are you now saying tongues knowledge and prophecy still exist?

Make up your mind.

Cessationism is NOT a Baptist theological doctrine.

From what you have posted in the past it is clearr that you really do not know the difference of what is in view on this thread. You are simply making opinions with out knowledge or experience.

I do not in any way believe that you will read what I am going to post to help you but someone else may like to know.

I realize that ANYONE can believe in the gospel and be either a cessationist or a continuationist. I also believe that God can do miracles today apart from the hands of men. But, as I stated several times and anyone and everyone is free to disagree.......
I also believe that any new revelation and the miracles that validated this revelation and its speaker ceased with the apostles.

The importance of this whole matter lies in what claims as one’s authority for Christian belief and practice today—does God speak to us through Scripture alone, or does He continue to speak through men?

If He continues to speak through men, the authority for Christian belief and practice lies in the Bible and also in men. But if God ceased to speak in this age when the apostles died and when He closed the Canon of Scripture, then Scripture alone is sufficient for our Christian belief and practice. THAT is what the person who accepts Cessationism believes.

That is correct sir. The Apostles were given what to say by the Holy Spirit. They wrote down those words and we now have the Bible, the canon of God's completed Word is PERFECT and Completed.

Who brought this UP???????

Someone about 1500 years ago I think!

Agree!

The lost man know nothing about God when he is saved. He must READ the book.

Romans 10:17.........
"FATH comes by hearing and herain by the Word of God".

I agree. I fought against God for many years. Finally just like Jacob in a wrestling match He pinned me and won me.

I know ONE thing the day I accepted Christ. A preacher told me I had a choice .....stay as I am and burn in hell forever, or,
accept Christ and go to heaven forever. IT WAS A CHOICE and God gave me the faith to belive what that man of God said.

THEN.....I started READ the WOrd of God and learned and was given the knowledge that was found in the Bible.

Mrs. Sophie. I wish I could say that I have enjoyed the conversation with you. However, all that has happened is me posting Scripture and doing the exegesis of that Scripture and YOU making fun and being personal toward me.

I will no longer respond to any of your posts. You are free to continue your rantings and name calling and overall un-Christian behavior toward me personally, but I no longer have the desire or need to try and communicate with you.

I hope that you and your family will be safe and stay healthy. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe in the palm of HIs hand.
