[SUP]Rom. 10:14 [/SUP]How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

This man needs to be ignored.
Everything he knows and says about God's Word is wrong.
Please elaborate.

I have made it simple on most of you by offering the simple Revelation 21:5 Behold, I make ALL THINGS NEW.

Please expand upon your assertion of wrong teaching.

I mean like there are some Christians who think hitting people over the head (not literally) is the way to go and others think that telling them that they are ok the way they are is the way to go.

So where is the happy middle?

I used gay people and pro choice people as an example because those cases are pretty extreme where you can either be like "it's ok Jesus loves you" or be like'REPENT OR PERISH!" make sense?
As many as Jesus loves when they need to repent he rebukes, as shown here

Rev 3:9 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

So it is okay, as that IS Jesus loving those who need to repent (by rebuke and chastening them)

Luke 13:30 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

And so here likewise is his "repent or perish"

Im beginning to change my mind again the more I am in these online christian circles and seeing all the games people play and the busloads of heretics dumped off on them so I am somewhat unsure now.

First and foremost ignore the dead Greek poet as he is way off base concerning many things.....

Second, I would examine how Jesus dealt with people and no need to hammer theirs sins, just point out how none are good and everyone sins and needs to be born again of the spirit by faith in order to live eternally in the kingdom of God....The book of John, which is one of the most evangelistic books does not even contain references to hell.....at the same time they also need to understand that to leave this world without the blood of Christ covering their sin will result in being separated form God for all eternal ages in a place of torment (The Lake of Fire)...at the end of the day let the spirit of God lead you and speak as what he lays upon your heart......

I do agree you say in a kind manner, but we cant use His blood as a door mat, I KNOW YOU DO NOT IMPLY THIS, im just stating.

For He did say; (and not a single sin, but the "path")

John 5:14, "Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you."

My first read through the "gospels" I read that....(John 5:14)

I take His words serious, dont follow them perfectly, but His words are Spirit...

John 6:63, "It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh is useless. The Words (Instructions) that I (Yahshua/Jesus)speak to you, they are Spirit, and they are life everlasting."

Paul in his letters said that he only preached Jesus Christ and the cross - (meaning what he died for). Only when we lead people to Jesus and his open arms of grace will they begin to understand more. Because when they receive Jesus as their savior, they will then receive the Holy Spirit who will open their eyes to not only the effects of their sin, but to the immense love the Father has for them.

All their growth will then come from their relationship with Christ. We only want them to see HIM.
I agree.

And actually the answer is in the title of this thread - just change "or" to "and" = grace and truth. Jesus is our example and he came "full of grace and truth". We remember the grace God has shown us as we teach the truth - Jesus Christ death and resurrection.

A think there is a balance between

being so soft and cuddly it's not real or viewed as not real and preaching all out fire and brimstone. What I have seen is, if a church preaches nothing but nice messages and never makes any of their member "look upon themselves" then that church usually has the seats full and the tithe jar full. But when a message of walking in the narrow path (whatever that may be to said group) is preached, not so much attendance....

Titus 1:9, "Holding fast the teaching according to the faithful word in order that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and to refute those who contradict."

2 Timothy 4:2-3, "Preach the word Be instant; ready to take your positions in season, out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers, who will tickle their ears."

Luke 17:3-4, "So be on your guard! If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him! But if he repents, forgive him! And if he trespasses against you seven times in one day, and seven times in that day turns to you, and says; I repent; then you must forgive him."
