Alyssa Milano, 46, revealed in the latest episode of her podcast this week that she made the “devastating” decision to have two abortions while in a serious relationship in 1993.

Milano, who was in her early 20s and had just finished working on "Who's the Boss?" at the time, said she knew she wasn't ready to be a mother, according to People.

"I chose. It was my choice,” she said on “Alyssa Milano: Sorry Not Sorry.” “And it was absolutely the right choice for me.”

Milano said she was using birth control both times she found out she was pregnant.

“It was not an easy choice,” continued Milano, who is a vocal pro-choice advocate. “It was not something I wanted, but it was something that I needed, like most health care is.”

“It was devastating,” she admitted. “I was raised Catholic and was suddenly put in conflict with my faith. A faith I was coming to realize empowered only men to make every single decision about what was allowed and what was not allowed.”

She said she found out she was pregnant for a second time just months after her first abortion.

“I had done what I knew to do to prevent pregnancy and was still pregnant, so once again I made the right decision to end that pregnancy,” she said.

Milano said she looks back on the decision without regret.
“I would not have my children [Elizabeth, 4, and son Milo, 7] — my beautiful, perfect, loving, kind and inquisitive children who have a mother who was so very, very ready for them,” she said.

“I would not have my career. I would not have the ability or platform I use to fight against oppression with all my heart. I would never have met my amazing husband, David, whose steadfast and immeasurable love for me sustains me through these terrifying times," according to
Last spring, Milano called for a Hollywood boycott and “sex strike” in Georgia to protest a heartbeat bill passed in the state.

If someone could make sense out of this I sure would appreciate it. On Edit: I meant to place this in the News Forum.

Regarding here statement here......if Ms. Milano is only speaking of the Catholic faith, then she is right and wrong.....there are Protestant Churches that do not extend the same rights/power to women as they do men.

However, IF she is speaking of the legality of abortions, then men and women approved that, and men AND women stand steadfast against abortion rights!

Allowing abortions to become legal in this Country has not "empowered" anyone. What it has done is to make tragically clear that this Country has strayed far, far from God.

What does The unrepentant sinner do but sin and then justify themselves?
She knows that what she has done is wrong, that is why she is dug in on the matter.

It seems to me many who squack in favor of abortion oppose the death penalty for other forms of MURDER. I can recall a criminal on a cross telling another "We deserve what we are getting but this man has done nothing. Then he turned to the innocent man and said remember me when you get to your kingdom. Some criminals may deserve the death penalty. Unborn Babies do not!

It's a normal human reaction for guilty people to try to shift the blame and try and make others look or feel guilty. Genesis's chapter 3: "The woman you put her with me..." "The serpent beguiled me..." it's our sinful nature, and part of our DENIAL mechanism.

I was raised catholic, But It did not bother me that I was having sex, or that I was taking birth control (from what I hear a major sin) but as a result. I must commit murder, and that does not bother me either.

The regret will come when it is entirely too late. All the condemned souls are cast into the lake of fire. Not a single soul enters willingly but all are cast in.

These have hardened their hearts and have only to await the passing of judgment.

Ps.This is not me talking, this is me repeating what I heard the young lady say.

You could ask the mods to move this over to a more suitable venue. Alyssa Milano has received too much publicity for an airhead.

I'm not opposed to birth control or sex in marriage. But murder? Antisocial personality disorder (Psychopaths and Sociopaths) Will not justify an insanity defense. Because lack of morality does not legally constitute insanity. But I'll change my angry face since you have edited I'm told.

Obviously she was unaware that abstinence prevents pregnancy.

But you realize of course (she thinks) she's special. Vain, narcissistic and shameless. Lover of the flesh and the created not the creator. Romans Chapter 1.

It is regrettable that her fame and career is fleeting. One day not far into the future she will be forgotten and cast into the dustbin of history. If she had children they could be a living heritage for her.

Mt 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

@calibob MK Ultra is far from funny.

We should be praying for her... these people are used, abused and discarded.
