4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.


As for me, mine are:

Get married to pretty Christian woman.
Live in a nice house.
Having a closer relationship with God.
Starting my own sucessful video game company where I can use the game I'm gonna make to serve God and hopefully save millions of people with it.


So what are the desires of your hearts?

to live to see the salvation of all friends and family members before their passing and once I'm gone to have this desire in the hearts of my children to carry on in intercession of others that they may know the fullness of life lived with the Lord while here on earth.

hey... I think i just did my mission statement! without meaning to!

AMEN! well done my good and faithful servant. how awesome would that be! too often we focus on where we fail though, dont we mom, but you are an amazing sister in Christ!

Actually I do not think this verse is saying God will give you what you desire, but it is saying God will give you what to desire.
Fore instance God doesn't grant the desire that is in your heart, if you are truly delighting yourself in the Lord, God will place a desire in your heart. Therefore God GIVES you your desires.

Mine are to serve God with all my being, putting Him first in all I do.
Expose the sin within the church, tells those that need repentance that they need to repent.
Expose false doctrines such as OSAS, and the pretrib rapture for what they are.
Open a half way house for those trying to get their live straight through a new relationship with Christ.

Basically Gos has called me to be a watchman to the church. He has place this desire in my heart, and I desire to achieve all He has called me to do.

Id say the desire of my heart is to continually reach new levels of closeness with Jesus Christ in my devotional/prayer time.I want to spread the gospel to those around me and see peoples lives changed following Christ and seeking Him daily.I desire people to have a passion for a relationship with Christ.Finally I have a desire to break down walls of denominational pride and mans understanding and proclaim the perfect understanding that God can offer by seeking Him in fervant ,unselfish prayer.God bless

Then you miss the boat!! You are not to desire from your own flesh, but receive the desire God has placed in your heart.

To be holy, righteous, humble and pure. So that the Father,Christ and the Holy Spirit can fuse with my soul and I can walk in Heaven on earth, also get out the message that there are no denominations in heaven just Christians.

It used to be I would seek the hand of God (His power) and not His Face. Now I seek His face but I desire for His power His Words to come through people that no one would expect who don't play church and they know there God and seek His face and seek His Word with all there hearts. And through these unlikely people confound the wise good beautiful smooth talking church people of the world.

I hope you don’t mind if I quote my previous post, but if I ever get a Christian novel published, it would be thoughtful of you if you were all to buy a copy.
