I was wondering what everyone's views were about pastors on television, and motivational speakers. Examples: Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, Creflo Dollar.

Do you think that they are doing God's will?

Anything big is very likely comprimised in some way or form.

Evil religious people spend there lives corrupting everything they can get there hold on. They sneek in and gain position and destroy quietly from within.

I happen to like Joice Meyer but I rely on the Bible and the church I go to.

Whether they are doing God's will or not, may not be ours to determine, but one thing is certain, they believe they are doing God's will.

I Corinthians 3:13

...each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work.

Watching these people on TV can be hard sometimes to figure out. I personally don't approve of Joel Olsteen, because he doesn't warn people
about sin or hell. Our motivation when we watch anyone on TV is to make sure their giving us solid scripture steaching and not just a "feel good Christianity."
Pray, and try to discern weather their really promoting God or just selling you something.

This is a list of some of the people I trust.

Mike Atkins, Dr.Carl Baugh, Joni Earikson, Dr. Ed Hindson, Dr. Kent Hovind, Dr. Grant Jeffrey,
Rabbi Moshe Laure, Hal Lindsey, Dr. David Reagan, Dr. Adrian Rogers, Michael Rood, and Dr. Randy Weiss

This isn't everbody of course, but it's my list, I trust them because I find their teaching to be sound.
