Some coming back under new user names do not attempt to hide who they were in the past. Those who left under their own volition and decided to return, or created a new user name for whatever reason, that is... not those coming back after being banned.

So true, so true.

An emotional response because of an emotional investment which really is misplaced and only causes some to stumble which is

the whole purpose of these false teachers who put themselves on centre stage, our eyes should be on Jesus and Him alone.

false teachers and those who follow them, get angry when you point out the error

this site is full of such threads

it's not personal, but they make it personal when you refute the precious extra-biblical beliefs

notice all those personal comments when all I did was post about Copelands' beliefs

they cannot answer and they attack instead

oh well. at least people can read what WOF actually teaches

that is correct

I have never been banned or even received a warning

and yes I have had another profile and a good discussion with a mod because I almost left again

however, I was advised not to take the nasty personal comments personally and just roll on

so after considering it, I did

I do know people who have new profiles and others do not know who they are

some here got locked in battle with another and left and some have had people hound them and follow them from thread to thread

the mods give alot of leeway and some take advantage of it, so some people take care of the conflict by leaving and coming back

that's what I did.

I've already stated that I don't follow Copeland. Never have, never will. I don't like his personality; nothing to do with teaching.

Just a personal preference. I didn't like Joyce Meyers the first time I heard her for the same reason. She sounds militant. But, nothing against what she teaches.

I don't hide anything..am an open book. Post my own poems on poetry. And mostly post out of my own study.

And I don't attack anybody. Not even you Lauren.

Exposing isn't attacking.

on the subject, it's so easy to accuse or guess another's profile or suspect they have changed things

but I will ask a mod to intervene if someone starts saying I am a banned person who has come back because that is
a lie easily refuted

again, we are warned not to put personal info in our profiles BECAUSE there are nuts in this and every other forum

not this forum, but another, I gave personal info to someone and she began to harrass me and was banned

in another forum? same thing. so I am anonymous to most of you as you are to me and it best that way unless you can prove otherwise or I meet you in church

stones, I think you have a bug or something that you won't quit

I would have to say, that is not acceptable behavior

I can promise you, you will never ever get close to me

Nobody mentioned banned.

I said you sound the same...same mannerisms. Same phrases of words combo...same bitterness.

Magenta mentioned ban..not personally to me, but she mentioned it, so I clarified my status

you seem to go with a half truth, and run with it

very unwise

I can't even. so I do have to answer this

the anointing does not exist in some sort of a parallel universe in and of itself

David did not kill Saul out of respect for what once was. Saul lost his place before God when he did not wait for Samuel and went ahead, as so many do, and assumed the place not given to him. further, he did not do as God required and he did not kill all the livestock etc and he kept the king alive

further, God Himself said He regretted making Saul king

ignore the real story then and make up your own so that you don't have to REPENT (biblical meaning here if you know it) and allow the Bible to tell you what went down instead of picking what suits you?

Saul was no longer anointed. The prophet anointed David while Saul was still king and you cannot have 2 kings

10 Then the word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying, 11 “I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from [f]following Me and has not carried out My commands.” And Samuel was distressed and cried out to the Lord all night. 12 Samuel rose early in the morning to meet Saul; and it was told Samuel, saying, “Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a monument for himself, then turned and proceeded on [g]down to Gilgal.” 13 Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed are you of the Lord! I have carried out the command of the Lord.” 14 But Samuel said, “What then is this [h]bleating of the sheep in my ears, and the [i]lowing of the oxen which I hear?” 15 Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and oxen, to sacrifice to the Lord your God; but the rest we have utterly destroyed.” 16 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Wait, and let me tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” And he said to him, “Speak!”
17 Samuel said, “Is it not true, though you were little in your own eyes, you were made the head of the tribes of Israel? And the Lord anointed you king over Israel, 18 and the Lord sent you on a [j]mission, and said, ‘Go and utterly destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are exterminated.’ 19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord, but rushed upon the spoil and did what was evil in the sight of the Lord?”
20 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I did obey the voice of the Lord, and went on the [k]mission on which the Lord sent me, and have brought back Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.21 But the people took some of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the choicest of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the Lord your God at Gilgal.” 22 Samuel said,
“Has the Lord as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
As in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams.
23 “For rebellion is as the sin of divination,
And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He has also rejected you from being king.”

24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned; I have indeed transgressed the [l]command of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and listened to their voice. 25 Now therefore, please pardon my sin and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.” 26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you; for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.” 27 As Samuel turned to go, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to your neighbor, who is better than you. 29 Also the [m]Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.” 30 Then he said, “I have sinned; butplease honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and go back with me, that I may worship the Lord your God.” 31 So Samuel went back following Saul, and Saul worshiped the Lord.
32 Then Samuel said, “Bring me Agag, the king of the Amalekites.” And Agag came to him [n]cheerfully. And Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.” 33 But Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hewed Agag to pieces before the Lord at Gilgal.
34 Then Samuel went to Ramah, but Saul went up to his house at Gibeah of Saul. 35 Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death; for Samuel grieved over Saul. And the Lord regretted that He had made Saul king over Israel.
Thanks 7 I was just about to do this same thing....you just saved me copious amounts of typing...

I will add this...If David had Killed Saul to take the crown, God would have killed David...David let God validate and approve him....something lacking very badly in today's church body...self called and self appointed all over the place...

and in the meantime, all the TRUTHFUL info I posted has been buried and I became the focus

typical of what is done to avoid answering, dodge the questions and make the poster you disagree with look like they are hiding some big dark secret

the actual secret here, is not a secret

it's called itching ears and running after doctrines of demons, of which WOF, among others such as dominionism, sons of god, latter rain etc, are

they are all part of a heresy, and actual blasphemy at times, that twists, distorts and matches together scripture that has been ripped out of context and applied to sound good to itching ears

For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires. II Timothy 4:3

I was actually going to make the point regarding the non-validation and validation by those who have self validated

such as what was done with Todd Bentley. he was validated by false teachers, liars and false prophets

these folks cannot be heading towards 'well done thou good and faithful servant'

if the devil cannot get you to deny God, he will do all possible to make God a liar by all these WOF teachings

thing is, we do need to agree with what scripture states but we hardly ever get around to discussing that because of all the false that needs addressing

WOF has taken truths and buried them in false additions and twisting

much of the NT was written to refute sin and false teaching. the early church was not some perfect organism

Again so true, I have experienced the same, the irony is that unbelievers can see the nonsense and

some believers (who should know better) are the ones who are fooled.

This whole behaviour of grave sucking and talking to the dead how can this be part of any church.

Bluto...Could I ask what denomination you are?
Sure denadii, you can ask anything you want. For many, many years I have been attending Calvary Chapel Churches which of course are not denominational. I'm a Vietnam Veteran and when I came home I met my wife who was in nursing school and we got married two weeks later. She's been an RN for as long as we have been married which will be 50 years next year. Here and I raised three daughters, and from my daughters are four grand daughters and finally 3 grandsons.

I had to laugh and shake my head from the person that accused me of having something against women? Has everthing my life and in my life with my wife been just perfect and rosie, hell no. I've been a Christian since the age of 18 but of course it was later that I began to grow and understand. I became involved with a group know as the Navigators which have a ministry on college campuses and miltary bases throughout the world.

I got into apologetics because I came into contact with Mormon missionary's. I heard what they had to say and I knew right away something was not right and I wanted to know more about them. It was then recommended to me to get Dr.Walter Martin's book "Kingdom of the Cults." Btw, he was the original Bible answer man and I made it my mission to get all his audio tapes and his video tapes of him debating those in the cults and when possible to attended his meetings. I forgot to say that we ended up moving to Southern California where Dr.Martin was based. I consider him my main mentor.

I should also say Dr.Martin was one of the main persons to confront wof teachings. You should also remember that what I say about wof teachers and how I feel about them are two different things. I don't hate anybody, it's just not in me. Just read how Jesus ripped the Pharisee's at Matthew 23 and then read what He says at vs37. And one last thing as I close. Do you know what makes a good marriage? Two good forgivers.

It's not any earth shattering discernment deserving a bluto self inaugurating drum roll to see that wof is off.

No big deal.

But to condemn God's word for the promises that ant-wofers so handily distort is like taking a pistol, loading the barrel with epoxy and then going hunting.

So ridiculous.
It's like bluto is doing jumping jacks behind Copeland saying "over here, looky over here, heretic, heretic, heretic!!!!!" screaming in vain over nothing.

Cult like, and west borough baptistie spirit big time.
Is that what you think "heartofdavid?" None of this is a big deal? What an asinine thing to say and it shows how clueless you really are especially in not knowing your Bible. Telll me something, on what basis do you consider kenneth copeland an annointed man of God? In other words, by what measure did you determine that copeland is a man of God? Was it by how beautiful he sings? And to say this about me, "Cult like, and west borough baptistie spirit big time." How did you determine I'm like those people?

So, Ok Just asking here....Who anointed you God's witch hunter? And you say you don't hate anybody but you speak with such hate in you speech. Where is that coming from and who is it that you do hate so bad? And too, Why is it you ignore scripture and keep up your witch hunt even against said scriptures? You really raise a lot of questions with me. You strike me as a Paul the zealot rather than a picture of Jesus that we're all supposed to be.
When was the last time somebody you didn't know, came to you and said "What is it about you? I want what you have. I want the peace you have."

I read Dr. Martin's book back in he late 80's.

It also had a strong impact on me, of all the books that I consider now a waste of time, his is one of the few that as been foundational to my understanding truth and various cults.

I like your marriage advice...just pure and simple.:D
