Hi,
I would like to see a very concise message of what you have learned from this forum today, or yesterday for that matter. It is a good way to evaluate our walk. Ie are we here to teach or learn or both. Many years ago whilst working for a company who taught how to plan our day and how to work our plan, I started, at the end of the day to list what I had done. It was amazing that on some very busy days, I could find few things to put on the list. So much time is spent with little to show for it in concrete terms.
So if you please list your name and what you have learnt (in concrete terms)
edwin, from pickles post on the living water being in the one who was sent.

I am rushing for a train and will be gone for a few days, have fun and God bless you one and all.

I cannot point to any spacific post, it is more the wealth of all of them.
I find myself becoming bolder as I read each word from all.
There is no doubt in my mind with all that is being revieled, and the trials that many are going through in faith, but also the wonderous revalations as well.
That all of us, Gods children, are being made ready!
As to what ? That is with God Our Father, but I feel a true joy building in my soul for all in Jesus.
God bless, pickles

I was reminded that persecution is like manure, it makes the flowers and vegetables really grow fast and big.

That lots of people are still lost in false teachings. That you can do any thing you want and still be saved. Why be saved then? Why the blood? Whats the point of the blood of Jesus. Do what ever you want and you get to go to heaven.

Mockers just like God said of things in the bible. They make fun of Gods Holy gifts.

Some people still hang in there trying to speak the truth to the plug up ears I thank God for them.

Pickles is always trying to seek God. Shes a joy.

That we need to keep praying because I think this site is a good example of how many people who have very little clue of who God is and that is so sad to me.

I agree

so many people think that God's salvation is a tenuous thing and one unfortunate sin at the wrong time and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross becomes unreachable for the individual

Hi,
I want to thank you guys for joining in. I like to hear people speak from the heart. I am back a lot earlier than I had anticipated. I had a car accident. My fault, so my agenda had to be altered.

Hi,
Thanks pickles. No one was injured in the accident. I caused the accident and it is very difficult to be the one responsible for causing distress in several lives. I feel it was a lesson in patience because lately I have been harping on how impatient people are. I was impatient and hence the accident. I feel I have been tested and found wanting. I hope and pray that my patience has matured.
love
edwin.
PS From many experiences I know that whenever I open my big mouth and say anything, Jesus will test me to see if I am truth to my own words. When the accident happened I looked to see what was going on in my life and I remembered how much spruiking I have done on impatience. Additionally just before the accident Tui called me to tell me she was going to be 20 minutes late which meant that there was no way that I could plead a desire to keep Tui from waiting.

"To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20

Always match everything with the Word of God.......Popular opinion means nothing if it contradicts the Word of God...You need to be very careful on this forum(or any other forum on the net)....****able heresy is rampant today....creeping into many churches sadly....

the thing i notice most is people seem to think knowing about this or that in studying the Word still miss the revelation of the cross in its fulness, the righteousness and grace of Jesus we walk in, the knowledge and mind of Christ. Jesus gave a bible study to the two disciples on the road to emmanus, all He directed them to was Himself concealed in the old covenant(now thats a bible study class i would have loved to been in with Jesus in person expounding the scriptures), and we see Him revealed in His glory in the new covenant.

Abrahamic covenant-Grace

Moses's Covenant-Law

New Covenant-grace upon grace / grace and truth

We search the scriptures looking for life yet Life stands before us --JESUS

We are all part of the Body of Christ... I thank God that this place is one where I find all parts of this Body & the needs of Christians herein are being met through the prayer warriers and the posters and the fellowship herein.

Roboop: I learned to question what I held as truth with respect to women in ministry and my attitude towards my family and my husband and my place herein. I have only benefited from this change in attitude as has my family. Bless your heart for that & for this place that brings fellowship to one such as me, stuck out here in the sticks! (ok not stuck lol but 45 minutes to town is a ways to go for fellowship)

Great to see you here Roaring!! Roaring Kitten is the very first one who challenged me in what I believed that had absolutely no Biblical foundation but was just easy to believe, he had me question what I was taught.

Zander... my first friend on here & my first friend on the internet... I learned that this is not just a box with random words showing up, there are folks behind these words. I learned the amazing presence of the Lord & unsurpassed faithfulness to the will of God and patience and understanding. I miss you my friend... once both boys are in school I'll have more time for chat, for now the forums are where I am mainly & when I pop in chat its rare you are there.

Shad... my online pastor and mentor I grew and continue to grow in grace... From Shad I've learned so much I cant even post it all. Gentle correction and timely instruction always with grace at the forefront... I value shad so very much.

LighthouseJohn... No matter what the circumstance God's will be done. Truly a man who serves the Lord and the downtrodden. So very thankful for you friend.

Pickles... humility and intimate knowledge of the Lord and relationship with the Lord & genuine motherly love of all herein.

Charisen... sound sound sound scriptural knowledge and wonderful relationship with the Lord... he's my prayer request guy & another one I consider an online pastor!.

Miktre... A heart to expose deception that could cause those who seek the Lord to stumble. Also, caused me to question what I held as truth. a much valued friend.

GreatKraw... laughter and the quick wit that surrounds his knowledge. I just smile when I see that you've posted and try to predict what it could be.

Phil36... Also of sound Biblical knowledge & lotsa laughter.

VW... Love & relationship with the Lord that is amazing to me. Amazing Love!!

seekinhim ... his name says it all He knows the grace of God & exhibits the fruits of the spirit.

Consumed... Exhibits the fruits of the spirit that I so wish to better show, He truly loves the Lord and is an example of brotherly love we should all try to exemplify.

Thaddeus... thought I'd mention him though he's no longer here... He most always had sound biblical response, I miss him.

Thefightinglamb... Young man who truly embrases holiness and reading through your psalms reflections was like reading into the heart & sometimes struggles that most any believer will resonate with. thank you for this.

Snail... made me mad & made me laugh! made me laugh more than he made me mad. miss him too.

Maggiemye... wealth of spiritual warefare knowledge!

Question Time ... A man truly seeking God's will. One with whom I think I disagreed at first but somehow came to be like my little bro to me!

Cookie39 & Loveschild remind me of one another... Lauren too... they are all strong women in the Lord who stand up FIRM in Gods word with conviction that shows the power of the Holy Spirit within. Proud to call you guys sisters... also zone & silverwind.

Suaso... Taught me ALOT about the Catholic Church and taught me to love & not judge my Catholic sister in spite of our differences in belief.

Muelhide, Pickles, nanabean, grace, carpetmans wife, CCG, WWJD, Alayna J, Ilive4him, Noahsmom... Shout out to my girls who are a wealth of knowledge and support. You guys will randomly message me right when i need it most and are each precious to me, like balm upon my heart! (thanks lighthouse john... balm to the heart is such a perfect description).

I also thank God for blessing me with a local friend I met through this site this is amazing cause I've hardly met anyone from the same provence let alone originating from the same town & moving to the same town... I prayed for a Christian sister to fellowship with and the Lord blessed me here. her nic was nicnato.

I'm certain I've forgotten someone... I feel like i'm at the Oscars of Chat lol!!
Knowing me, its probably someone very important. Oh well i'm tired and I'm not deleting this!

I'm thankful for all my friends on here & how I've grown in this place.

I have learned that when I speak or write or act or even think, that I must, to keep from sin, seek His leading in everything. It is so easy for me to come off as superspiritual, when the truth is that I am nothing of the sort. Words that are meant one way are often seen in an entirely different way, but if from His leading, the blessing would be from Him.

I cannot praise God enough for the wonderful brothers and sisters that He has shown me in this forum. Times were starting to seem that I was alone, but for a few. I know that God has reserved for Himself those who love Him, and who worship His name. All of you.

In His love,
vic
