I know a friend of mine, a girl, attractive, young, that revealed to me that she has problems, trying to date, men. because she was born with both, genatilia, both male & female parts, this has led to considerable frustration, and she has been shunned by Churches, 'Christian friends', because of this.
The problem is; How can she go out with a guy & marry a guy when she has both bits? the bloke would be revolted, that she has male genatilia, above her female genatilia, and would it also be a sin for a bloke to go out with her?
If she goes out with a girl, then she would be partly a lesbian, or accused of being one, she has a girls body, but mens bits, and would be a sin for a girl to go out with her.
She is ready to commt suicide, because she is so unhappy,
my heart weeps for her, what can I tell her?
She gives out gospel tracts in the town centre... Angel888

There is an idea that the first man was created an hermaphrodite

before the woman was made from him.

Firstly! It is not her fault that she was born with both genders. Secondly, it is at her disgression whether or not she feels male or female and to live her life accordingly. If she choices to be male, then she is NOT a lesbian. She identifys herself as male. Thirdly, she can have surgery to become whatever gender she wants if she chooses to go that route. It is a legitamite medical condition that she was born with both parts, she's not sinning in any way whatsoever so SHAME on those chruches and christians. I'm particularly surprised that when she was born her parents didn't choose for her concitering they usually make them "female" because it's hard to reconstruct a male organ. She is worthy to be loved and her beloved shouldn't care about what parts she owns because, if they truely love her, it doesn't matter. That is real love. She is not revolting, she is a person. I suggest that you show her that people love her not because of what sex she is but who she is as a person. Anyone not willing to accept that shouldn't be a part of her life or worth her time. I will pray for her.

Tell her that she should get surgery if possible. Either way, date men and when it gets "serious" tell the truth. God will provide the man who will understand and love her enough to overcome that initial shock. Until then, serve God and it's no one else's business.

Does she know how to love others? Her ability and willingness to love others will teach others to love her. God is faithful.

I doubt that many christians would enjoy the best of both worlds. And how one decides whether to be m or f beats me.

Actually she doesn't have a choice. From what I heard even though they born with with both sexes, there still is one dominate one that the person usually takes on. I'd think she'd have to go with someone opposite of what her dominate sex is.

or both parts down stairs, has a sausage roll in her pantry, etc... I was asked. Dont laugh!! poor the girl is upset, and wouldnt take surgery

God's will is not generic, so she will have to find that out. There is no blanket will for Hermaphrodites.
It is not a sin for her to go out with a guy or for a guy to go out with her. It is obvious that from how you are talking that she is a woman.
Why won't she get surgery?

Angela: Your friend needs to see a geneticist and have testing done to determin WHICH sex is predominant in her/his body. Then, if she/he desires, parts that are not wanted can be surgically removed.

IN ALL FAIRNESS, it would not be right for her/him to enter into a relationship such as marriage without first divulging the genetic condition BECAUSE it could be passed down to offspring.

This is one of the 'generational curses' that are referred to in Ex 20:5.

They have genetic tests to determine what sex the person is and if she is a woman then there shouldn't be a problem with a man dating her extra parts and all.

I am so sorry. I wish I had answered this earlyer.
I would have told her that she is perfect as she is. That who ever she falls in love with, it would be good in the eyes of God Our Father.
We have someone in or area that is this way. Saddly because of the attitudes of others this person is very broken and has made terrible choices in their life.
I thought alot about this years ago when I fisrt knew of someone with this condition.
I asked God about it and believed that since this person is Gods creation and both sexes that the person should live as they are and what ever choice was valid in the eyes of God.
Too often when one is born with differences ,we think all has to be (fixed). Rather than seeing that every person is Gods creation and perfect in his eyes.
My heart and prayers are with you and your friends family.

This is a terrible tragedy, that she has killed her self, taken her life, well atleast now she is in the arms of Jesus, Dont tell me that God threw her into hell.
Its a pitty that some good advice couldnt have been given to her earlier, or that the Local church, christians could have given her more love..., accepted her as she was, listened to her more, rather than boxing her & labeling her...REJECT!...
I am deeply shocked!!.... my attitude could have been a bit more
serious, rather than treating it as a novelty problem. What more could I have done?...

I believe that there are things so terrible in one's life that can drive one to suicide. I believe she has gone to a gracious God who judges more fairly and lovingly than we can imagine. I will pray that God gives you comfort and assurance.
