The Light shined in the darkness, but the darkness could not comprehend it. (John 1:5)



There is a saying: we always fear what we do not understand. So, the darkness is in fear of the Light, but where are we shining our Light? Are we shining it before men, like Matthew 5:16 tells us to, or are we simply "relighting" our own churches and our own homes? Are we letting the world be consumed by darkness as we hide in our rooms with our light, waiting for it to all be over?

luke 8:16 says we need to not hide our light, but put it on a stand. Jesus said to us all that He is the Light of the World. He said that His Light will give life to the world. But if we do not show our light to the world, then Jesus wasted His time on the cross, because all that would have come from it would be cowards and people who could have been saved, but were trapped in the dark and couldn't see their way out.


When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Wikipedia Holographic principle

The holographic principle is a property of quantum gravity and string theories which states that the description of a volume of space can be thought of as encoded on a boundary to the region—preferably a light-like boundary like a gravitational horizon. First proposed by Gerard 't Hooft, it was given a precise string-theory interpretation by Leonard Susskind.
In a larger and more speculative sense, the theory suggests that the entire universe can be seen as a two-dimensional information structure "painted" on the cosmological horizon, such that the three dimensions we observe are only an effective description at macroscopic scales and at low energies. Cosmological holography has not been made mathematically precise, partly because the cosmological horizon has a finite area and grows with time.[1][2]
The holographic principle was inspired by black hole thermodynamics, which implies that the maximal entropy in any region scales with the radius squared, and not cubed as might be expected. In the case of a black hole, the insight was that the description of all the objects which have fallen in can be entirely contained in surface fluctuations of the event horizon. The holographic principle resolves the black hole information paradox within the framework of string theory.[3]

Never heard that one before. I am a creative being I like that one better. I think God put great thought into each and everyone of us. I guess your right he had to imagine us first.

Jesus is the light of the world, and men hated the light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who loves the light, comes to the light that their deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God. If we have any light, it is Jesus in us.

When you have seen the things I have seen, (I did not choose to see them, and they make nothing of me,) and begin to relate them, you expect to get some ridicule. If that is all that I get, then I am happy. I really hate it when I get curses, and disparaging remarks and thoughts, because I feel as if what has been given for good has become an occasion for sin.

Jesus is the light

If we look at ourselves we see the shadow we cast

if we look at others we see the shadow they cast

So the best thing is to continue to look at the light
