John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers. You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

Ephesians 1:14-16

The Holy Spirit is the down payment on our inheritance, which is applied toward our redemption as God’s own people, resulting in the honor of God’s glory.

2 Cor 1:21- 22

Now it is God who establishes both us and you in Christ. He anointed us, placed His seal on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a pledge of what is to come.

Maybe what I should have added to the OP is 'that God gives His Spirit only to those who 'obey Him'...not to everyone who reads and quotes scripture Acts 5v32.

Romans 16:25-27New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith – 27 to the only wise God be glory for ever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

1 Thessalonians 3:9-13New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

9 How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you? 10 Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith.
11 Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. 12 May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. 13 May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

Have we not already been given what we need to be transformed/converted ?

Joh 14v16, And I will pray the Father and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you for ever,
v 17, even the Spirit of truth whom the world can not receive because it sees him not neither knoiws him, for he dwells with you and 'shall be in you.
v18 I will not leave you 'comfortless, I will come to you.

Joh 16v26 But when the 'Comforter is come , whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the 'Spirit of truth which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me.

So I am asking...what are we waiting for ? Is HIS Spirit not enough ?
Yes, Holy Spirit is enough. What do you mean by waiting? We don't run ahead of Him, nor lag behind.

Oh, AMEN! Come on now!

We sit around twiddling our thumbs waiting for Jesus to rapture us out of this cold cruel world (not saying I'm against the rapture, just to be clear) and we totally MISS what He has for us right now! We are in a relationship with Him right NOW and He wants to use us in His Kingdom right here, right now, in ways we can't even fully comprehend!

What are we waiting for? Let Him lead us mightily! Let us see lives and hearts changed! Lead us into another great revival!

We're here on Earth for a reason, folks! As it is in Heaven!

Job 14:10 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he?

14:11 As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up:

14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.

14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

14:15 Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.

It has been said that the book of Job is the oldest book in the Bible, from my understanding of these scriptures Job is still waiting... Till the heavens be no more... I don't believe that has occurred yet!... Brother Glen:)

......the 'return of Jesus Christ ! Most christians are waiting tor that event when in fact 'He is already here 'in Spirit !
I know many Christians who worry too much about the rapture, about Trump possibly being the Antichrist and pope Francis being the Beast. Everything we need is here and now - the Holy Spirit of God.

What I've heard many Christians say online is that they believe Obama is the Antichrist and Pope Francis the false prophet.

What we can see from people's/christian's ideas and opinions is a lot of confusion...not to mention DISobedience.
Because they read in scripture that God has given us His Spirit they claim it even while being disobedient and NOT walking with Yashua/Jesus 24/7.
People who hold the truth in UNrighteousness will be reprimanded and corrected at CHRIST's return Rev 19....and not raptured to heaven as they expect. So....are many waiting in vain....even missing His presence ?

ROMANS 8:23.
And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of The Spirit,
even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption,
to wit, the redemption of our body.

Yes God's Spirit is enough, but Christians are told that they should be waiting for Christ to come and receive them unto Himself. So what's your beef?

For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. (1 Thess 1:9,10).

Seems to me people always want more than they are given...which on the one hand helps them to 'look ahead...but on the other makes them discontent with what they have...how do we find the 'right balance which to God is very important ?
Waiting on the Lord is good while we 'continue in His Word and improving our standing with God....but from all the disagreement and 'set mind and heart among Christians it is hard to find 'anyone ready for that event'. Too many are going to be disappointed....how do I know ? it's in scripture !
So how do we use the time left 'wisely ? We allow God to 'conform/copy us to the true Original !

It is very obvious that any effort to help people is falling on deaf ears, on blind eyes on dumb and lame who refuse to turn to the LORD who could heal them. They are looking for instructions from Him but are unable to receive them being blinded by the impersonator 2Cor 4v3,4.
Until they turn to the REAL ORIGINAL Jesus and stop worshipping their sunday idol there can be no help for them...I beg you to reconsider your standing ! time is running out !

Until they turn to the REAL ORIGINAL Jesus and stop worshipping their sunday idol...
Just because you happen to be a Sabbatarian does not mean that other Christians are idolaters. What if sabbath-observance has become your idol since you refuse to accept the Lord's Day as the Christian day of worship?

Who gave the apostle John the revelation that one day of the week must be called "the Lord's Day" other than the Lord Himself? And had this been the 7th day sabbath, it would have been called "the Lord's sabbath", not "the Lord's Day". So you are really on the horns of a dilemma. If you reject what the Lord revealed to John, then no amount of sabbath observance will make up for rejecting what Christ has revealed.

Christ is called the first fruits of them that slept in 1 Cor 15:20 (as relates to His resurrection). So the Feast of First Fruits was a type of Christ's resurrection, and it was always on THE MORROW AFTER THE SABBATH. Hence the first day of the week is the Lord's Day. Just because it happens to be commonly called "Sunday" makes no difference. Christians call it "the Lord's Day".
