Psa 116:1
(1) I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
(2) Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

The man Jesus of Nazareth, born of God His Father, came down from Heaven to offer Himself a perfect atonement for sin, that whosoever trust and hope in Him should have life through His blood as a Lamb without spot. I will love the Lord Jesus Christ as long as I live!

I want to recount just a few of the verses that cause my heart to break at His Glory starting in Revelation descending down through time back to Genesis. I will lay out 25 posts to highlight a few of the reasons Why I Love The Lamb of Peace; but if you likewise Love The Lamb of Peace go ahead and post your reasons, praises, prayers and words in honor of His magnificent greatness.

God be with you all who seek Him and wait upon His Glorious Appearing! Amen.

Rev 22:1-4
(1) And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
(2) In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
(3) And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
(4) And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Rev 15:3-4

(3) And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
(4) Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Rev 7:16-17
(16) They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

POST 6

Even the creatures of Heaven worship the Lamb of Peace!

Rev 5:8-13
(8) And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
(9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
(10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
(11) And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
(12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
(13) And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

1Jn 3:20-23
(20)
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
(21) Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
(22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
(23) And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

AMEN, amen. Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty! Let us Kiss the SON! For the sceptre shall not depart from JUDAH!
Of course the sceptre has departed from Judah with the sack of Jerusalem and it's temple in the 1st century AD.

Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Companion verse:

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

The obedient of the 12 tribes were being gathered in the 1st century the rest were "destroyed from among the people."

1Pe 1:18-21
(18) Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
(19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
(20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
(21) Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

And if a stranger sojourns among you and would keep the Passover to the Lord,
according to the statute of the Passover and according to its rule, so shall he do.
You shall have one statute, both for the sojourner and for the native
(Numbers 9:14)

There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free man,
there is neither male nor female;
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
(Galatians 3:28)

you really are unleavened.
For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
(1 Corinthians 5:7)

you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
(Isaiah 58:12)

Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, and the living One;
and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore,
and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

I know the scriptures, but I'm not quite sure what it is that you are saying. I could have just as easily entitled this thread, "Why I love the King of Peace."

Are you saying that Jesus is not the King? Or that Jesus in not the one prophesied (Shiloh) to take the Kingdom and reign forever? Or something else?

Doesn't matter what you titled the thread - you claimed the sceptre has not departed from Judah, which in my understanding is in error.

Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

The sceptre is in Christ's hands, Judah does not rule the kingdom and never will.

Pro 3:5
(5) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.

Pro 25:17-18
(17)
Withdraw thy foot from thy neighbour's house; lest he be weary of thee, and so hate thee.
(18) A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

What I said was:
AMEN, amen. Holy Holy Holy Lord God Almighty! Let us Kiss the SON! For the sceptre shall not depart from JUDAH!
So either you made an honest mistake or another spirit is working.... I assume you made an honest mistake.

The Lamb of Peace is also the Lion of the Tribe of Judah as well as the KING of kings and LORD of lords A.K.A. the God of Heaven and Earth, the Creator and sustainer of all life, the Judge of man and the SON of MAN....HE IS the Messiah, Adonia and his name is JESUS the savior and redeemer of men!
The reason I said I could have used King of Peace in the title clearly points out that I hold that Jesus Christ is the King and holds the sceptre which the scriptures clearly record, which you also have said. I also hold that Jesus is of Judah and the Sceptre shall not depart from Him. Which is what dcontroversial and I and probably others were rejoicing in.

The scriptures clearly point to Judah prevailing both in the Priesthood and in the Kingship.

Mat 2:1-2
(1) Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
(2) Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Mat 5:34-35
(34) But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
(35) Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.

Mat 27:35-37
(35) And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
(36) And sitting down they watched him there;
(37) And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Joh 18:36-37

(36) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
(37) Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Heb 7:13-14

(13) For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
(14) For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

1Pe 2:9-10
(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Rev 5:5 & 10
(5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
(10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Gen 49:8
(8)
To you, Judah, will your brothers give praise: your hand will be on the neck of your haters; your father's sons will go down to the earth before you.

The sceptre is in Christ's hands, Judah does not rule the kingdom and never will.
The scriptures clearly point out that Judah in Gen 49:8 refers prophetically to that Seed that should come from the tribe of Judah to reign forever more. Who else in the entirety of the universe can rightly be named "Celebrated?" How funny, that was the whole point of my post. Offering for others to Celebrate the Lamb with me.

The prophetic precept seems to follow the line of promise from Adam, to Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, through Judah to David, unto Christ Jesus the True Seed of Promise.

Gal 3:16 Now to Abraham were the promises given, and to his seed. He says not, And to seeds, as of a great number; but as of one, he says, And to your seed, which is Christ.

Rom 8:37-39
(37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
(38)
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
(39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
