Are you meek and humble?
• Pro 15:33 -> “The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.”.
Before the person receive the honor, they should exercise humbleness:
• Pro 18:12 -> “Before shattering, the heart of man is proud, and before honor is humility.”.
Unfortunately, many people need to be shattered in order to become meek and humble. It is for this that the Creator debase the cavalier resisting to them:
• 1Pe 5:5 -> “Likewise, younger ones, be subject to older ones, and all being subject to one another. Put on humility. For God resists proud ones, but He gives grace to the humble.”.
Thus, as James said:
• Jas 4:10 -> “Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift you up.”.
After all:
• Pro 29:23 -> “A man's pride shall bring him low; but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.”.
“For whoever exalts himself shall be abased, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted.” (Luk 14:11).
Therefore, the best attitude is:
• Pro 25:6 -> “Do not put yourself forth in the presence of the king, and do not stand in the place of the great; for it is better that it should be said to you, Come up here, than that you should be put lower in the presence of a noble whom your eyes have seen.”.
So, have a beauty day arousing the humbleness of the Creator in your life, making of this your spiritual clothes (Col 3:12; 1Peter 5:5).
