Our hope is found in You alone, our LORD and Savior
Winning life’s battles is impossible on our own
Only You alone can calm the raging storms…
…that steal our joy;
…that cause us to be restless;
…that make us doubt Your goodness;
…that distract us from hearing Your voice.

It’s crippling, it’s overwhelming, it’s disturbing
So please help us to trust You with all our heart
And not depend on our own strength and abilities…
…that are limited and unreliable;
…that are insufficient to meet our needs;
…that are incapable of making us truly happy;
…that are mostly guided by our selfish desires and ambitions.
***********So teach me Your ways, LORD, and guide my steps
And help me face life’s challenges strong and brave
ARMED with Your love, grace, and faithfulness.
