Do always the good, give a share to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil shall be on the earth (Ecc 11:2):

• “The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips, but the just shall come out of trouble.” (Pro 12:13).

Everyone is subject to sin and, considering that the Creator does not respect persons nor take a bribe (Deut 10:17), therefore both, wicked and righteous, will suffer the aftermaths of their sins.

Fortunately, for the just there will be escape. It comes the question: why?

Because, once they believe in Christ, they fulfilled what it was taught by James and John:

• “My brothers, what profit is it if a man says he has faith and does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and if one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them those things which are needful to the body, what good is it? Even so, if it does not have works, faith is dead, being by itself.” (Jas 2:14-17).

• “By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him?” (1Jn 3:16,17).

• “He who has pity upon the poor lends to Jehovah, and He will reward his dealing to him.” (Pro 19:17).

Do the good, ever. Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord (1Cor 15:18).

Nevertheless, may it be clear: it isn’t for you seeking to please the poor (ponder on Job 20:10), rather, it is for you to please the Creator giving to the needy, not what they ache for, but what they really need to be great spiritually.

For this, receive in the storeroom of your heart, everything that the Creator wish to put there, regardless “of what”, “for what” and “for who” this is. That is to say, even if what the Creator desires to put in your hands is something unpleasant for you or good for someone that you judge not to deserve this, receive and comply with what Peter said:

• “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1Pe 4:10).

But, above all:

• “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” (Ecc 11:1).

So, have a good weekend apportioning what is necessary and important to you (and not only what is superfluous) with those who need this and, certainly, when you fall, you will find the necessary grace and mercy in the altar of prayer and worship (see Hebrews 4:16).
