i never lost a parent or sibling when I was young.
I sometimes wonder if grief in the early part of our lives attracts us more to the spiritual realm.
Theres a Catholic priest on another forum. He lost his mother at age 8. It obviously influenced and affected his life. His mother was very Catholic though.
Tragedy traumatises but sometimes it has a positive effect on our lives.
Spiritual people have a special vibe. Its like they have a special insight. I like being in such peoples company.
But not everyone who experiences grief is like that I know.

Had more than my share of grief so I can relate to your post. You are correct in saying that spiritual people have a special vibe.

My aunt died at age 38 with cancer. Leaving 4 kids. That must have bern very traumatic for kids aged 12, 10, 7 and 4.

when i saw the title i thought you might mean, grieving over something that hasn't yet come to pass, but you know will, in the process of time.

Grief and grieving tends to break down something hard in our heart or it did mine!
My mom was 56 when she passed,my son 36,5 yrs ago and my baby brother 41 be 5 yrs in March!
I think we see life as the vapour it is,here a minute then gone!
I want all I am to be right with God daily even minute by minute for tomorrow is NOT promised.
Grief never dissipates from a life but does change our outlook on it....IMO

Death of a child IFH. That IS huge!! I cant imagine what that is like because I never had kids. Just losing my dog one day will crush me!

Losing my parents triggered my thoughts about the after-life and the spiritual world.
It makes a lot of sense to experience a reunion with them. I have much to thank them for.
