Faith in Jesus requires us to trust in why he came.

Jesus ultimately came to save us and prepare us for eternal life.

The life we live here is about serving Christ and making him known so others can be saved and share in preparation for eternal life.
Many people have mixed views about God and the lives we are meant to live after accepting Jesus into our lives.

Some think of God as a means of great financial gain, others think of him as a way to try and heal everyone who is sick, others choose to try and bring heaven to earth by miracles signs and wonders.

Others want everything now and then everything later.

The best way to know God is through Jesus Christ and the life he lived and what he valued.

To have faith in what God has already accomplished and set up through Christ and his Apostles should be enough for us.
Through their teaching and knowledge of the truth we deepen our faith that leads us to eternal life.

The book of Hebrews talks about this kind of faith in Hebrews 11. It’s a faith that simply trusts without seeing the result right now. We like many others are being led into eternal life by the great shepherd who we cannot see which is Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit.

We only have to accept his message and guidance of the Holy Spirit in our transformation and we are prepared for eternal life with a Holy God (Jesus Christ).

For many Christians that’s not enough and they need to have so much more, to see so much more and feel so much more.
Jesus lived a life of faith and was given the Spirit without measure to do God's will. The Apostles were also given the Spirit with great measure to do great things.

That’s not so for us. We are to accept what Jesus has done and their authority by their miracles and revelations so we become children of faith.

With them we are complete coming under Christ as the shepherd of our souls.

Be careful the devil doesn’t tempt you into accepting the things of this world over God's great commission. Become a believer of simple faith and point others to the good news of the Gospel and Jesus Christ.
