The media has done much effort to convince people to accept everyone, regardless who they are and what they do. At first, this sounds good. Nonetheless, although the Creator receive everyone that goes to Him and, in no way, He cast them out (John 6.37), He only welcome those who repents of their sins, convert to Jesus and follow Him wherever He wish to lead them (see Luke 9.23).

Understand: the love that we need to have for those who make themselves enemies ours and of Jesus, at no moment, means to condone their debauchery, salacious deportment, grifting, etc. Rather, this means to allow Jesus embed in us His word and Spirit, so that we can used by Him to turn the person into a fit vessel for the glory of His name.

And the reason can be seen below:

  • “His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sin. He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.” (Proverbs 5.22,23).

Take heed at what the turpitude does in the life of those who put this into practice:

1 - his own iniquities shall take the wicked himself –> the sin keeps the person in bad feelings, thoughts, plans, desires and actions.

2 - he shall be a with the cords of his sin –> the sin precludes the person of walking toward the true peace (John 14.27).

3 - He shall die without instruction –> Without instruction, the person certainly will fall into the ditch (Matthew 15.14), will be cheat by the strange woman (Proverbs 2.16), will be chastise with many whips (Proverbs 19.29), his home will fall (Matthew 7.26,27), and, finally, he will pass away (Proverbs 15.10).

4 - In the greatness of his folly he shall go astray -> the person will end up making the same mistake that Adam: to try to change the paradise. The outcome is: the person never will be able to experiment the true boons of the Creator to him.

Have a good day musing on this.
