Is your heart protecting you against the evil or giving room to it? (Part 1)

• Pro 14:3 -> “In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride, but the lips of the wise shall keep them.”.

In the mouth of the foolish there is a rod called pride. If we consent our soul to stay sit in the assembly of mockers (Ps 1:1), this will come about us:

• 2Pe 2:18 -> “For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they lure through the lusts of the flesh, by unbridled lust, the ones who were escaping from those who live in error;”.

In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for those who are braggart. How this rod works?

• Pro 12:6 -> “The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood; but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.”.
• Psa 52:1,2 -> “Why do you boast yourself in evil, O mighty man? The mercy of God endures forever. Your tongue devises evil, like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.”
• Dan 7:20 -> “And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.”.

That is to say: this mouth stirs up people to do many bad things so that they can practice what isn’t convenient and, thus, be catch in their own evilness and condemned:

• Rom 1:28-32 -> “And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right, being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.
• 2Th 2:10-12 -> “and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.”

• 1Co 3:19 -> “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God; for it is written, "He takes the wise in their own craftiness.".

• Mat 12:36,37 -> “But I say to you that every idle word, whatever men may speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.”

• Pro 1:19 -> “So are the ways of everyone who gains unjust gain; it takes away its owners' life.”

So, have a blessed day warding off yourself of all circumstances that yield bad feeling and thoughts in your heart.
