The truth about our condition.
From a fallen state we are completely blind to the things of heaven and of God.
Our fallen state as creatures quickly perishing is so bad we are here today and gone tomorrow.
Compared to eternity, God and the angels we are nothing unless of course we have accepted Jesus Christ as our lord and saviour.
Why do we keep on sinning even after we know the truth and have the Spirit living in us? Why do we die like everything else?
It’s because we are done and dusted in this life. Our fallen state bleeds us dry of life and eternity.
Not just us but the whole world and everything in it.
The Good news is Jesus comes and lives in us and by the power of the Gospel and rescues us even though we are fallen and going to die. He offers this rotten sinful creature a new life in our fallen state but promises us eternal life when he raises us to life when he comes again.
In faith he now calls us children of God and doesnt view us as rotten and sinful even though we are.
We won’t have any more sinful dreams in those days, no more tears and sinful thoughts at all towards anything. We will be given the promise of a new mind and body like that of Jesus Christ and will reign with him forever.
We just need to do his will with the little time he gives us in our fallen perishable bodies and minds and give him the worship he deserves.
Sadly most choose to spend that time wasting it because they don’t believe in the promise waiting for them and the love of God.
Wash your mind with God's word regardless of what your mind and body think and say. God gives us enough grace to make it through without the guilt. Believe that in faith.
