Let’s not put behind what Jesus teaches us through people with whom we get in touch:

  • “Sons, hear the instruction of a father, and listen in order to know understanding. For I give you good teaching; do not forsake my law. ” (Proverbs 4.1,2).

When someone enjoin us to do something, our lean is to get angry, chiefly if the order is bad or unrighteous.

Nevertheless, understanding that Jesus is in control of all things (Psalms 24.1), instead of encroach the laws, let’s seek out in Jesus what we need to learn and do amidst the situation that we are living.

Pore on the situation of Jochebed. The pharaoh charged all his people, saying “every son that is born you shall cast into the river, and every daughter you shall save alive.” (Exodus 1.22). If she had rebelled or trying to create a riot, the only thing that she would get it was nemesis. Even if she was well succeed in hiding Moses in a nook (or something similar), he never would learn the Egyptian science and, with this, wouldn’t write the Pentateuch.

Perhaps you say: but the Creator could use other ways in order to prepare Moses. Yeah! Nonetheless, the Creator, in His multiform grace and wisdom (Ephesians 3.10; 1Peter 4.10), use of several ways in order to avouch the sovereignty of His truth and power.

With Joseph we see the same thing. Who could fancy that, for him to became governor of all Egypt, is was necessary he suffer the injustice on the part of his brothers? To David to quash Goliath, instead of being trained in the army of Saul, he was trained by the Creator watching over the sheep of his father.

So, don’t mind if what people are doing is unrighteous or not! Instead of belaboring or harping on about it, hear the voice of the Creator and certainly His good, mercy and blessings will follow you (Deuteronomy 28.1,2).

Have a good day musing on this:

  • “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous good shall be repaid.’ (Proverbs 13.21).
