Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart (Col 3:15) (Part 2).

Recalling: how do we cope with people around us?

2nd hypothesis: based on Jesus’ grace, aiming, first of all, the internal transformation of the people.

This, of course, doesn’t mean to look over the sin. Jesus’ forgiveness isn’t the neglect of all committed sin, but the capacitation to surmount the sin. We need to offer our life in a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to the Creator (Romans 12:1), so that every break in people’s life can be obturated:

• “And I sought for a man among them who should wall up a wall for the land, and stand in the break before me, that I should not destroy it. But I did not find one.” (Ezekiel 22:30).

And how will we do this? Through the pardon, that is to say, staying close to people, serving as bolster in their life:

• “Bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another. Even as the Lord hath forgiven you, so do you also.” (Col 3:13)

To be more precise: every time that people sin, let’s offer our life so that Jesus can manifest His presence. Seeing this, people will see that Jesus is real and His Word is alive and effective (Hebrews). Thereby, people will ameliorate in their:

• *Faith*: because they experienced a demonstration of the Spirit and of power (see 1Cor 2:4,5; 4:19);
• *Love*: in virtue of they saw the care of Jesus freeing them, granting them victory;
• *Hope*: because, now, they have confirmed that every promise in the Holy Scripture won’t fail (Joshua 23:14; 1Kings 8:56);

Every time that we forgive, Jesus make a link joining our heart with the heart of people that sin. If we stay in Christ’s love forgiving as much as necessary (Luke 17:3,4), the sum of every link will form a thick and sturdy rope that will fill all the break existent in people’s heart, make both of us stronger in faith and in our relationship each other.

So, don’t chuck in on the people. Have a good week taking a chance on Jesus to make His greatest miracle: to make a person into a new creature (2Cor 5:17).
