Love yourself being merciful and stalwart!

  • “By mercy and truth, iniquity is purged, and by the fear of Jehovah men turn away from evil.” (Prov 16.6).

The iniquity is purged when we pursue mercy and truth. Many times we think that the way for stave off the iniquity in the life of one person is the vengeance. But who don’t turn away from evil never will manage to fear Jesus and His word. Considering that the fear of the Lord is the onset of the wisdom (Prov 9.10), therefore this person will never reach the Truth (meditate on 2Peter 3.15,16). When the person is used to walking through the way of sin, they don’t crave for light (John 3.19-21), neither they take hold of the paths of life (Proverbs 2.19).

So, even if the person doesn’t deserve anything good (by the way, the only good person is Jesus – Matthew 19.17), it is our walking in the light path that keep us clean inside and allows us to have veritable relationship with people close to us.

So, forgive and always say the truth, even if it is only for love of yourself. You will perceive that this is the best option (or, if you prefer, the only option, inasmuch as the life without Christ is a disguised death.

Pore on it and have a nice day in Christ Jesus.
