Lord I need to jettison now and forever all the filthy garbage that depraves my thoughts and sucks me down the vortex of crazed carnal sickness. Lord strengthen me, buttress me in my walk every day, that I may walk steadfast in obedience and devout faithfulness. May my life be honoring to You Lord. I must purge the grotesque and wanton dross. Elevate my thoughts Lord-- may I be kept still and focused, gravitating towards the light. I need your protection and guidance to ward off the demonic influences and the hovering darkness that remain in my midst. Let me not fall into the snare of the evil one.

2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. 5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. (Colossians 3:2-5)

Jesus spoke to the Pharisees again. “I am the light of the world,” he said. “Whoever follows me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness.” (John 8:12)

You are the source of all life, and because of your light we see the light. (Psalm 36:9)
“You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)
Your word is a lamp to guide me
and a light for my path.
(Psalm 119:105)

God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him. If, then, we say that we have fellowship with him, yet at the same time live in the darkness, we are lying both in our words and in our actions. But if we live in the light—just as he is in the light—then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from every sin. (1 John 1:5-7)
