The importance of the home in the process of salvation.

  • “And every curse will no longer be; but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His servants will serve Him. And they will see His face, and His name will be in their foreheads.” (Revelations 22.3,4
This is one of the most glorious promises in Holy Scripture. Although its full fulfillment will take place after the millennium, it is already possible to glimpse this promise at home. And the Creator designed everything so that each individual could be involved in family ties and already enjoy this promise: first as a son (daughter) and brother (sister); then as husband (wife) and father (mother).

Let's understand the promise:

  • There will never be a curse:
  • - “"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD.” (Is 54.17).

The home is meant to break the curse of sin called selfishness. It is the Creator's main instrument to encourage parents to offer material goods, knowledge, wisdom to their children free of charge, only in exchange for experiencing true Love (1 John 4.8, 16) in them.

  • The throne of the Eternal and the Lamb will be on it -> The home must be the ideal place for the Eternal's living presence with His thoughts, feelings, plans and desires to be established and expressed through the couple who accept to live the life of the Lamb in this world.

The Kingdom of the Eternal is made up of those who accepted Jesus' reign inside themselves, in view of His glory, both in good times and in adversity. The couple must be guided directly by the Eternal Himself and, at the same time, serve as a guide;

  • Your servants will serve the Eternal and they will see His face -> what Moses so wanted and could not obtain (Ex. 33: 18-23), will be a reality: they will be able to serve the Eternal without sin to restrain them and prevent them from seeing the Eternal as He really is.

The home should be the place where its members can have the privilege of serving out of love and thus contemplate the face of Christ in each other's lives;

The name of the Eternal will be on their foreheads -> Everything that the Eternal really is, should mark the minds of the couple and children, to the point that they are identified with Christ.

For all of this to be fulfilled, have an excellent day seeking the Creator's wisdom and understanding:

  • “Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.” (Proverbs 3.13,17).
