Hello Wezzer,
I too am in college and I can identify with what you are going through. I skated my second quarter and barely got by. I was passing my math class but was not putting in enough hours into this math program called ALEX. At about the end of the quarter, I went to my math teacher and she told me that I might not get a passing grade because I didn't put enough hours into the program. I explained to her that I was also trying to put a lot of time into English, that had conflicted with the other hours in Math. The situation was not looking good from where I was standing. I prayed earnestly about whatever decision was made, that God would help me prepare for the next step. I just barely passed.
In my first quarter, my adviser had goofed by not giving me credit for a class that I had taken at another college. So I ended up signing up for that class and then recognized that I had taken this class before. Went to my adviser and showed her the error. She admitted her mistake but the financial aid office still wanted to penalize me for it when I told them that I had dropped the class and was not going to sign up for another class which put me below 12 credit hours for the quarter. I was told that I had to pass all of my other classes in good standing so it would not affect my aid. Even though it was their fault, I was told if I pressed the issue, I would have to pay all the money back for that dropped class. Needless to say, I was not too happy but was thankful I got through all of my other classes with decent grades.
You got to find out why you keep boom-a-ranging yourself. Do you feel you deserve good grades? Do you feel that you are taking studying for granted, or are you allowing distractions to take you away from your studies.
I have come to know that God's Word should to be my number on priority in the morning before taking on the outside world and the evening before going to bed.
God does say to all of us, "What does it profit a man go gain the world and lose his soul."
Are you seeking God to just make things better so you won't lose out? Are you seeking God because you really want to know him as your personal Savior? God does not give out miracles like candy especially when we know that we have not done all we can do to do our part.
Ask God to help you understand why you keep going back over the same ground that caused you to be put into this same pickle jar again.
