What are you watching over?

• “A gracious woman keeps honor, and the strong keep riches.” (Proverbs 11:16).

The violent keeps wealth because, in their mind, it is this that allow them to take over all population. Nevertheless, the woman that has the grace of the Creator holds on to her honor. After all, it is through the woman that all the plans that the Creator put in the mind of the husband will become reality.

Recall that the man is the image and glory of the Creator and the woman, the glory of the man (1Cor 11:7). Only if the woman conserves her honor she will be able to convey the glory of the Creator in the man to her children and they, in turn, to the next generation.

Understand: honor means virtue and, in the kingdom of the Creator, virtue means the ability to infuse the concepts and values of the Creator in the hearts, the capacity of bear a godly seed (Malachi 2:15). The role of bearing children is so special that the Creator use the maternity to save the woman (1Timothy 2:15) and the first commandment to the man was to be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth (Genesis 1:28).

Not to mention that the first thing that the Creator made in the life of Eve was brought her to Adam so that he could have a helper as his counterpart (Genesis 2:18).

So, have a good day watching over what really will make the Creator great in your life. Don’t become violent storing up richness (see Amos 3:10).
