What do you enter in Jesus' sanctuary with?

There are three hypotheses:

*First*: you go in empty. Unfortunately, most of the people try to approach of the Creator thus, overlooking what it is written in Exodus 23:15; 34:20; Deuteronomy 16:16).

*Second*: you go in with the blood of others creatures, as happened in the Old Testament:

• “Aaron shall come into the sanctuary this way: with a bull, a son of the herd, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.” (Lev 16:3).

I know that, at first, this sounds antic. Nonetheless, remember that blood is symbol of life:

• “For the life of the flesh is in the blood. And I have given it to you on the altar to make an atonement for your souls. For it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.” (Lev 17:11).

The third hypothesis is the correct:

*Third*: you go in with your blood.

That is to say, we need to sacrifice our life, as Jesus and Paul said:

• “He who finds his life shall lose it. And he who loses his life for My sake shall find it.” (Mat 10:39).
• “And He said to all, If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23).
• “I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.” (Rom 12:1).

In other words, we need to sacrifice our thoughts, feelings, plans and desires so that Jesus can be all in us. Nevertheless, many times we prefer to sacrifice people around us.

Of course, we don’t like to contemplate unrighteousness. However, instead of telling off or coming down on people, let’s sacrifice our self (1Peter 5:5-7) so that Jesus find place in us to save people. May never the end of some “flesh” arrive before the Creator through our prayers (as “believers” did in Noah’s time – Gen 6:13).

The turpitude needs to be combatted (Ephesians 5:11), but with the right weapons:

• “For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ; and having readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” (2Cor 10:3-6).

See that all disobedience will be avenged by the Creator (see Romans 12:19-21). Notwithstanding, this only will be carried out by Him when our obedience is fulfilled. Before craving for changing of people, ponder on your changing. Although people need to change their demeanor, remember that the discipline starts from Jesus’ house (1Peter 4:12-19).

Perhaps someone is bothering you because some sin needs to be sacrificed in your life.

Jesus bought us with His blood (1Cor 6:19) so that, instead of trying to overturn the evil, we can look at Jesus firmly (Heb 12:1,2), believing in the power of piety (see 2Timothy 3:1-5). Many people hate more the evil than love the good.

So, have a good day with your face unveiled, reflecting the glory of the Lord as in a mirror and, mainly, being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit (2Cor 3:18).
