From my years of observations and experiences I believe that it is better to have loved and lost than to be afraid and never know what true love and happiness really is. In the end loneliness is my choice and this is true for unhappiness as well. I also believe, for myself, that it is better for God to search and find my true heart’s desire and not settle for my own design for I have flaws. I must not rely on my own flawed analysis that can only lead to a pointless search for what I will find at the end of this search is disappointment and despair. I do not believe in dating, but I do believe in building a relationship that may possibly lead to marriage. The discovery process can be both frightening and exhilarating at the same time and requires a tremendous amount of effort, dedication and courage. It is not for the timid but for the brave.

I will pray for God to lead me on each step of the journey that leads to love, happiness and fulfilment in a woman of His choosing for He alone knows what my true wants and needs are. I will not rely on my own set of emotions but instead rely on the emotion and direction that He has placed in my heart and in my thoughts. I will follow His lead and determined pace in the pursuit of love and happiness less my own fears drag me down into a pit of despair. At the end of the discovery process will be the moment of truth and a decision must be made. Is there a love of God that He has placed in my heart for this woman that is sufficient enough to act upon or am I basing my own sense of love and happiness on my fleeting sense of emotional wants and needs? True love and happiness will stand the test of time but you must ask for strength and courage to act on the conviction that God has placed in your heart and in your thoughts. If the answer is no then you must give your own set of emotions back to God , let it go and move boldly forward in life.

True love and happiness in marriage is indeed possible but it requires patience and perseverance if is truly desired. You must allow God to control the rate of flow of the blessings. Perhaps I am being analytical for I only desire the truth of God’s love. I must be willing to forgive and forget because there will the proof of testing. I must stay in constant prayer on the journey of discovery. I must be prepared to discover what true love and happiness really is.

Above all else I must have a deep love in my heart that I am willing to share with another woman and that is only possible with God. God is love and that is what I am truly seeking for I want only the true love and happiness that only God can provide.

You are braver than I am - I have been too afraid to pray for a husband, not because I don't want one but because I don't know what to ask for. Blessings in your search and prayers. May God lead in your search.

Your reasoning is sound by relying on God. If God sends someone your way, because of your faith in Him, you can be sure it will be right. May you be blessed and find this woman that fits into your heart :)

Hi tourist,

I'm in my late 30's and still single! I trust in the Lord, that he will find me a good Christian wife and I will have a loving family with plenty of kids! If not, it is simply the Will of God to continue in my celebracy! I give the wheel of my life, to Jesus-Christ, our Lord and Savior!

GBU, my brother in the Lord
