What type of faith does Jesus hope to find in us (Luke 18.8)?

Many times we assert that it’s important to have faith in Christ. But to believe in Christ until the demons do (James 2.19). But what is the difference that it ought to be between our faith and the faith of the demons?

  • “But to him not working, but believing on Him justifying the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Romans 4:5).

The faith of Ha-Satan is in punishing the sinner, seeking in the Creator our wishes and necessities; the faith of Christ (Galatians 2.20) implies in seeking in Jesus to present our bodies in a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God (Romans 12.2) so that, by this, Jesus can save the ungodly.

Justice is the recognizing of the merit of Jesus.

Go over this: imagine that your efforts make for something great and magnificent and nobody thank you, even not remember you. Certainly we would get sulky, doleful.

So, try to fancy how Jesus should feel when we don’t recognize the merit of all the He did on the cross, but, rather, we try to buy our salvation by our efforts. When we believe in Jesus, we justify Him (Luke 7.29), do the works of the Creator (John 6.29) and, at the same time, we are justified.

Have a blessed weekend seeking out the kingdom of the Creator and His justice and, certainly, all your needs will be supplied (Matthew 6.33).

  • “For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.” (Proverbs 2.21,22).
