Where is our "FOCUS"?

Our eyes are like a camera lens. What ever matter we "focus" on, becomes clearer or prevalent to us. One thing that has always stood out to me in my walk with Christ is that as long as I "focus" on Him life seems meaningful; it has a purpose. But as soon as my "focus" shifts to something else, I feel like life has lost it's meaning. I feel completely lost. It's like when I "focus" on the struggles of life, they seem clearer and BIGGER and then the cycle of worrying starts. This is where Satan takes absolute advantage of me. He keeps reminding me of my struggles, troubles and failures; makes me worry about them more. And in no time, they become a dominant part of my life and Jesus fades away some where in the background. But you know what friends, our Savior is an AWESOME LORD! remember that parable of one lost sheep? Yea, from time and time He proves that story, true in my life. No matter how far I've strayed, He finds me. He puts people in my life or brings me in certain situations and talks to me. He nudges me very softly telling me that I'm not alone. Reminds me that my "focus" has shifted. And lovingly accepts me again and carries me in His arms, when I "re-focus" my self on Him. So friends, here is a question for you all, Where is your "Focus", today?

It is true, it reminds me of the way a person can play around with near and far objects.

For example a person close up can look bigger than a mountain which is in the distance. Or a person stood far away can look smaller than a ping pong ball close by.

The object size does not change, but the way we look at them changes the size. I once read in a book that there is no need to tell God about your mountain, He already knows. But try telling your mountain about God.
