The beautiful thing about learning to be a writer, is that it not only expresses who you are, but even as a Christian; it does it in a way that leaves beautiful color in the midst of those who get to know Him through you. It is an indelible beauty unmasked and laid to bare of the hope to which He has called you. It is a way for God to help those who need to take down the old pictures they have in their life, and replace them with new pictures as you paint them a Rembrandt of Spiritual truths and gracious beauty wrapped in a linguistic technique fortified; and packed with genuine love. I say, if God has worked it in you, have Him help you to work it out. Go for it!:p...

There are many people who are proud of themselves first in the relationship to the gifts God has given them, in that they used it well - even while being a Christian and knowing this is not of God's will.

Now, there should be encouragement always, in loving people who are using God's talents for His will even when it isn't a subject of God(yet not dishonoring God). We do want to be supportive and encouraging.

But dare I ask, "should we take all opportunity to invest in eternal things with people who are not (focusing) first on God, to be proud of their talents alone?" (Again, I am talking to Christians here), Setting aside the thing of value in the room eternally which is an opportunity to give showing God whom will gather all men to Himself, and in whom you love above all things bringing honor to Him which brings you your most joy?

I believe your answer to this question would illustrate what is, and is not, your first fruit.

One of Satan's greatest delusions is to decoy folks off on to blessings that are merely secondary; granted beautiful in their own setting, but frivolous in context to God's desires to serve man thru Spiritual Truths. This is true of all careers and work in life. There is nothing wrong with being this or that, that's not my point to say one must do or be a certain thing. But in all choices made, (which Christ should lead you in anyway), you can serve the world there if you let God. Fear God and nothing else....for the world has a peer pressure, and satan is in the Church using the same pressure to do beautiful, but just don't do beautiful honoring God.

A man's idea of prosperity is according to where his hopes are founded - on God or on hearsay God; on the Living God, or on the ideas of God. One God can fervently use in changing lives; the other is useless spiritually. May God bless all mens workmanships as it first honors God in all of its ways of servicing.
