I always wanted to go with Mlysa Aellysn for a girl or Sevyn Kyllyan for a boy (my last name begins with Y), but although I have raised thousands of other people's abused, neglected, runaway and delinquent teens (and I have six adult stepchildren), it does not appear that I will ever have any children of my own for whom I would have naming rights.

Luna is my cat's name :giggle:

I gave my daughter her maternal grandmother's maiden name :)

I do not give out her name on the public boards ;)

What's in a name....In mythology Luna was the moon goddest. My dog's name is Diesel....she is no goddest. Our other dog is named "Angel" and she is no Angel.....but they are both very sweet...Sugar and Sweetie would have been better names.:)

Well, when we name our children, they will be using that name for the rest of their lives. So we need to think about that.

My daughter, who is now 39 is named Jacklynne.
I thought about naming my child Jacqueline, Mocha, Rosalind or Emilia. For the boy name I'm still not sure I like Ezra the name . I want his name to be different.

When my two older daughters were very young, we used to threaten to change their names to Clothilda and Dagmar.

Unless my future husband has a nice name...then our son could be a junior.
For a girl I don't know yet...I guess it depends on what the other parent thinks or wants.
I like normal names. My real name is too unique and I prefer traditional ones.

We don't have kids per se, but we have a cat named Josiah, and two dogs named Chip and Riley!

If I had another baby, I would name them Miracle, because it truly would be.
