It’s currently almost 6 AM over here. Around fifteen minutes ago my grandfather left to the airport. He’s going away for a month. The house already feels empty without him. It’s not good to be crying so early in the morning.
He’s going back to his home country in Central America. It’s not a very safe place to live and there’s a lot of crime, gangs, and overall dangerous people residing there. I’m so, so worried about my grandpa’s safety and how he’ll manage in these areas.
I know Jesus will be with him every step of the way to make sure nothing bad will happen, and yet I still feel worried sick. Any tips or advice or generally nice comments would be really very nice—I’d greatly appreciate it.

I will pray for your grandfather with you. It helps to know that nothing happens that is not God's will, for our future good, and that furthers the kingdom. We can rest in that.:)

The Holy Spirit may be convicting you to pray very strongly for your grandfather. Don't underestimate the power of prayer :). Is he a Christian? Can you talk to him on the phone occasionally?
