The media doesn't realize how much of an effect they are making on kids! Back then tv shows and stuff were kid friendly, now a days it's wack! The other day I went to the movies, and I saw a 10 year old and a 6 year old coming out of an adult movie, "The Hangover". They were with their parents! They were also cussing saying how the movie was, "Bomb ***" and "F***ing funny.." I was sooo torn apart and surprised!

thats really bad. my mum is a teacher for 7 year olds and they swear in the middle of the lesson. You just wonder how they could be exposed to stuff like that. Its especially bad when they do it with their parents cos some of them dont care. How can they not care that their 7/8 year old knows words like that!?!?!

Well, unfortunately, the media is a two way street. They play what the people WANT to see otherwise they wouldn't be in business. Every bit of influence the media has on us was allowed by us. Parents should know better, but some day they'll live to regret not raising their kids up right.

The media knows exactly what it is doing. It wants money. The world will call evil good and good evil. Its written in the bible. Watch clean stuff and protect your mind from the evils of this world.

Jesus said, "There will always be temptations to sin, but how terrible it will be for the person who does the tempting. It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a large mill stone tied around your neck than to face the punishment in store for harming one of these little ones."

Our society should be more careful, but they sin in pride and do what makes them feel good instead of what is holy and right. I weep for the future.

The Bible states: Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6 ESV).
Now if these children (kids, tweens, teens, even young adults; everyone) are soo easily swayed to follow examples in the media, then basically (obviously), you know their parents aren't properly raising them.
Oh one more thing, you come up with really great posts. It gives me hope for the future of our world (society) seeing (or reading their posts) young people being active in Christ.

Good bless
