I need some advice on how to deal with the problem I am having getting my husband to come back to Christ as I am. He gets upset everytime I speak something about the bible or Christ. We both grew up in the church and he is a preachers son so I don't think we were unequally yoked. Do I leave it alone and keep praying to God to get us back on the same track or do I keep pushing it and praying until he decides he want to come back.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph 6:12)

As Christ submitted himself to the earthly authorities, even when they hurled their insults at him,
Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. (1 Pe 3:1-2)

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Mt 6:25, 33-34)

Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. (1 Pe 3:8-9)

I recently spoke to a wife and her unbelieving husband. In the beginning he was very against her faith, but he has now started to read the Bible and to 'see'. He says that he is, "not yet a Christian"... but the word 'yet' is such a wonderful testimony to how his wife's prayers and the witness of her gentle spirit have moved him.

May the Lord restrain all Satan's powers from coming before your husband, and may he cast out the powers that hold him captive. May He give you strength through His Holy Spirit to persevere in this time of trial, that one of His lost sheep might return to home. I pray this in the name and righteousness of our Lord Jesus, the Son of God. Amen.

Thank God for that word you just gave me that inspired me to keep on praying for him and doing what I suppose to do as a wifeand also to put God first in my marriage and in my life.

I agree. Keep praying for your husband; the rest is up to the Holy Spirit. You might also be encouraged by Stormie O'Martian's book, The Power of a Praying Wife. GBU, Angel.
