Okay so, I have a topic which I do not know if it has been discussed. What I want to know is what is people thoughts on people dying and coming back to life. I recently read on a pastor who was dead for 90 minutes and he is actually coming out with a new book he was also on Huckabee one night. He said that when he died he seen heaven, he spoke that he seen family and friends who have gone on before him. Now this person was scared to speak because he didn't want to sound dumb.

I want to see what you guys thing on after life experience when people comeback. Do you think it is real or body shocks. I also, heard of a lady who died and come back who says experienced Hell she said that people where eat there flesh as the bible speaks of. Now I am a Christian 100% but I just want to see what people think on this subject?

Books have been written and movies have been made on this. I have also heard of pastors who died and came back to life to tell their story and convince people that Heaven and hell is real. I read about an atheist man who with that experience got saved when he came back to life. These people claimed to be telling the truth but I’m not truly convinced that their experiences are real; I mean they could have been having a nightmare or demonic attack...who knows.:confused:

Some may be authentic and genuine others not so........I read a book a few years a go of a woman's experience and it wreaked deceit.....she claims she saw Jesus dressed up in Christmas clothes because it was Christmas......

When I was 9 I came pretty close to dying...it was horrible. I was drowning so I would have been deprived of oxygen a fair bit. Apparently this makes you hallucinate to some extent. All I know is that the whole time I was hearing what sounded like a huuuuge church choir...whether it was angels singing I don't know! haha...but it definitely sounded 'heavenly'...

theres this book that I never finished reading called 23 Minutes in Hell. Bill Wiese says he went to sleep, died, went to hell, and came back (was brought back). anyway this is the longest account i've ever heard of the after life. some of it sounds kind of ify but other parts are very convincing. its separated into two parts: his experience in hell and his return. everything he saw he backed up with scriptures. either way he said that "even if you dont believe his story, he hopes that you will believe the scriptures that he gave and avoid hell just the same." I believe that anything is possible but that doesnt mean that i believe everything he wrote. the only people who know if he's lying are him and God. so who am i?

Test everything against the Scripture and earnestly seek the truth therein ...that is the best advice I could give.

If i died and went to heaven and was able to stand in the presence of the lord jesus christ and his father what possible reason would i have to come back? leave me there, put away the paddles, i am home with my family, savior, and father. Don't think the lord would give you a little teaser honestly, like oh hey look johnny is here welcome to the kingdom of heaven....sike! jk but seriously look at what has been sacrificed for us so that we can walk in eternity with the holy father and his son jesus christ and then ask yourself would the father, your lord in heaven really show you the kingdom and not accept you into it but let you return to your earthly self and suffer everyday knowing what has been revealed to you but denied at the same time.

My Uncle had this happen. When I was told about it my relatives said he must tell you. Sadly I did not get the chance as he passed six months after his expeariance. I wish I had. What I saw in his face and demeanor was a toltal peace that Was not there before. He had been medically dead for 20 minutes. I hope to ask some of those that heard his story soon. I've heard the argument that such incidents are from Satan because they don't present Jesus as the Way, but rather, "follow the white light and you'll be in heaven". And because some of these experiences happen to nonbelievers, they give nonbelievers a false assurance that they will be going to heaven despite the fact that they don't know Jesus.

As for when this happens to a believer, I don't know in that instance. Interesting topic though.

I think it is possible.I do not believe all that I hear though.God may allow this to happen to certain people,writers of the Bible certainly saw visions that we would question today.I suggest you test everything with the Word of God.

I am loving the feedback. I certainly think this is a cool topic because we don't know what to believe and we like hearing about stuff like this or atleast I do. One thing I would like to mention is my aunt died a few years ago and she actually was brought back to life so the family could say goodbye. I dont know how they brought her back but 20 minutes before when she was on the verge off passing she was crying because the pain was so bad. But then when they kept her a live at the end she said she felt so much peace and she wasnt hurting I think these examples are very interesting too. I think she may have seen Heaven or felt Heaven while she was fading. So cool I think.
