Actually, I'm trying to get back in to music. I've missed it, and don't want to be the servant who buried the talents given him in the ground. It's a little rough (or just might not be very good), but I'd appreciate your listening and even more your feedback! Thanks.

Yes, sir. I sure did. I've been a singer-songwriter for quite a while now, but fell out of it for a few years. I'm trying to get back.

Dude you're an awesome songwriter man!! :eek: I think your songs could seriously become hits with a good singer. (no offense, but I mean someone who sings good enough to record in a studio)

Sounds good to me. All it needs is a little ambiance 'verb and a little volume balancing and it could be put on a CD.

Can your music program handle VST? There's a neat little freeware effect called Room Machine that has become my go-to for ambiance. Freeverb 2 is also good for regular reverb.

@Zero: Hey, no offense taken, man. I use to have an awesome voice, but my chops just haven't been what they once were.

As for the songwriting, I've actually been thinking about that recently. I'd just be happy for the music to get out into the world. It doesn't have to be me.

With God's help and gifting, I 'd like to see just what I could do, and how far it can go. He's helped me be able to create around 100 already, and I'd be happy to add more digits to that number. ^_^

I've enjoyed your "Hold On", and really dig your scripture monologue within the song. You've got some interesting sounding stuff, and I like it.

Nice job. I actually like the second song. Maybe it relates to me more lyrically.. The tempo fits well with the message..

I just want to say that I am very finicky when it comes to music and I wouldn't just say you're an awesome songwriter if I thought it was 'just ok'. You have some serious talent! :rolleyes:

Well, I want you to know, seriously, thanks, man. I really do appreciate that. I hope I get the chance to do something with it. For now, I'll just keep playing and posting and praying, and we'll see what happens. ^_^

I liked the first song, BUT I think there are too many ba da da da's, the talking while the music played was annoying, lol, and too much guitar picking at the end. Otherwise, well done. :)
