I love many of the old hymns, in great part because not only do they teach you about the Bible, about theology and/or about doctrine, they make it such an enjoyable and easy way to learn and remember all of those things I also enjoy contemporary songs, like the ones that Michael Card normally writes, for the very same reasons.
