That really was wonderful and informative! Thank you for sharing :) I am not a big fan of many old-time hymns, being a much bigger fan of modern praise and worship music, though I love many of the Christmas carols, and have always very much loved Amazing Grace :D

I know it's a matter of taste and I'm sure there is a lot of new age Christian music out there that is good. Maybe it's just our music director's selections that bug me as sooo repetitive and boring and generally uninspiring....so I have attended our church's traditional services instead. There the music is predominantly Hymnal pieces that have been around and whose words make me feel good and inspire me. Young old-timer I guess, lol
