WASHINGTON, July 8 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden said the Supreme Court decision overturning the right to an abortion was an exercise in "raw political power" and signed an executive order on Friday to ease access to services to terminate pregnancies. Biden, a Democrat, has been under pressure from his own party to take action after the landmark decision last month to overturn Roe v Wade, which upended roughly 50 years of protections for women's reproductive rights. The order directs the government's health department to expand access to "medication abortion" - pills prescribed to end pregnancies - and ensure women have access to emergency medical care, family planning services and contraception. It also mentions protecting doctors, women who travel for abortions and mobile abortion clinics at state borders. The rest of the story - https://www.reuters.com/world/us/bi...ard-access-abortion-contraception-2022-07-08/

I knew it.
Next step? Codification.
This is just the beginning.

During his presidency Joe Biden said President Trump's signing of executive orders was the act of a dictator.

On his first day as president, Joe Biden signed more executive orders than Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump during their respective terms on office. I.E 12 years.

Heh... And the great Obama said that ratcheting up the national debt was anti-patriotic.

They also say they're anti-fascist -- while they try to use the SCOTUS to become our constitution.

Even if the federal government tries this, there'll be civil disobedience, probably from multiple states.

We saw what happened when we tried that Jan.6.

A rightful protest was invaded because someone sent in Satan's army.

Optics. They sent a warning to us all. As was intended.

Not sure what you mean by Satan's army.

Jan 6th was awful, inexcusable. However, you're right in that the Left is using that as their Night of Long Knives moment. And, this is irrelevant. Of course they're going to do that. They're at war with us. And, we can fight back without breaking into capitol buildings.

If they're at war with us then I would say their army's first openly flagrant proof of that on January 6 is not irrelevant.

While a reference to Hitler's night of the long knives is.
Nothing of the like happened January 6.

Not saying it did. What I was trying to convey was that they're attempting to use it to damn the entire conservative movement, as the Nazi party used that fire for their propaganda.

If you're suggesting that the American Left is following the Saul Alinsky tactic of accusing others of what they are doing, you are quite correct :)

There's no relationship to Alinsky's ideology and your injecting knight of the long knives into the discussion.

You lost me LOL

All I'm saying is that no matter what we on the Right do or don't do, the Left is going to try to use it to paint us as the "enemies of democracy", as they brazenly work to curtail free speech and the freedom to defend oneself.

The American Left today is no longer merely liberal. They are fascist. Progressivism is fascism. I've put up 6 (boring, ha ha) vlogs on YouTube trying to outline this.

Yes there is.

The American Left is using Jan 6th to condemn us as enemies of democracy and freedom. We are the existential threat to the American way of life. That is, in fact, what they are all about, but they are attempting to deflect that onto us as they try to move us towards fascism. That is one of Saul Alinsky's rules for radicals.

Funny that Biden claims the supreme court has taken "raw political power" and yet he used his "raw political power" to sign an EO on the matter.

Joe is the only one who overstep his powers.
